well i guess mine from my gereration sonic the hedgehog 2 for the genisus sonic adventure and 2 for the dream cast and sonic heros because metal sonic is awesomeness 3nodding xd heart

Metal sonic is awesome! I like the final leval on that game.
by far sonic Heroes is the best.

I'd have to stay Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. Really good story and music. Love it. All Sonic games are EPIC ;D

Sonic CD.
Unlike most the games listed above, it isn't in 3D, but it has everything I love about Sonic the Hedgehog: Fast pacing, awesome level design, minimal character implementation (4 total canon characters), Metal Sonic, and that race on Stardust Speedway is one of my favorite moments in any Sonic game.
Then again, I've grown up with Sonic, so maybe it's fitting for my tastes to be in the middle-ish as opposed to way old or way new...

I'm gonna have to go with the Hedgehog Engine powered versions of Sonic Unleashed. The day stages are the 100% perfection of what a modern day Sonic game should be. And the night stages are extremely underrated. How does the Werehog not kick a**? Oh right, because "it takes away Sonic's speed...Sonic isn't about fighting, it's about going fast" Screw those guys. Nobody complained one bit when they had to suddenly play as Eggman in Sonic Adventure 2. Are you really gonna doom a game, or even a character, just because of your fear of change?

I love that game! its my second favorite. I just like Sonic heroes more cause of metal -llIusionary_Enigma- I'd have to stay Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. Really good story and music. Love it. All Sonic games are EPIC ;D

Sonic unleashed rocks! i love Endless Possibilities and the end theme, and they're basically the same thing.Werehog looks awesome. ive only played the demo, and i sucked, but it is cool.

I like the classics that came out around 1993-1995.
1st is Sonic 3D Blast cause it was a game where you actually have to be careful to beat a level, and the bosses are way more fun than, 1,2,3 & Knuckles.
2nd is Sonic The Hedgehog 3 cause you had mini-games and you could save your game so you dont have to play the levels all over again.
3rd is Sonic & Knuckles because the levels had so many tricks and wider areas that you could go to and it took longer to get through a level, I loved that.
