I was upset, very upset frankly, when I finished my favorite Stephen King book (Rose Madder) because it had been this amazing, realistic thriller...but the ending was so fantastical and out of place! It seemed to me like he couldn't figure out a way to end it properly and in its genre so he made it into a fantasy in one page. I didn't like that and wondered what were your thoughts?

i thought it was a really good book and i didnt really mind the ending that much. i mean it wasnt one of his best ones but i still enjoyed it

i loved the book, but i didn't like the ending. she went like, psycho. it pissed me off because he like saved her and loved her, and she like, hated him at the end. or at least i think she did. it has been so long, a few years, since i read it, but the biggest thing i remember was her having that like fantasy about bashing him over the head with the pot... freakin lame!! lol

ok, i went and reread it, she came back from being psycho, but the end was one of those, sad/happy/depressing endings.
i cried.

Uh yeah tis been a few years since Ive read the book. But by far it was one of my favorite books. Minus the ending it uh in other words SUCKED!!

I would have to agree with all of you about the ending , except it was a pretty sucky book compared to the Stand, the Shining, Carrie, Cujo, Christine, etc.
