Personality:Mizuki always was a smart girl, approachable and friendly, a smile always on her face. That hasn't changed in her new life, though she can admit to harboring some bitterness that often gets the better of her, making her short and snappy with people sometimes. She is enthusiastic and eager to learn despite her circumstances. She tries to be confident, but often second guesses herself on her decisions, making her ability to lead sometimes falter. She is incredibly loyal to those who gain her trust and would put her very life on the line if necessary. She is highly respectful of her superiors and peers, trying to keep the best interests of the whole in mind before herself. Even with her bitterness after the death of Shang, she has managed to keep hold of her sweet nature.
Bio:In life, Mizuki was just like any other person her age. She was looking forward to college and a new part of her life. She was confident and so sure of where her life was going. That first night she was walking home from the library, everything changed. Actually, it ended. Suddenly. When she next woke, she was scared and shivering beneath a tree, a chain in her chest and blood everywhere. Nothing made sense. What happened? It was terrifying. It didn't take the truth very long to sink in. That was the first time she met a Soul Reaper. He promised her that it would be alright, that she was going to the Soul Society. She didn't know why, but she trusted him. Mizuki never saw him again, but he had given her one piece of advice: to get to the seireitei, to the Academy. And she did.
After arriving in the Soul Society, Mizuki found her way through the Rukongai to the Seireitei. She was just lucky that she hadn't ended up on the far edges of the Rukon or she might not have made it that far. Finding the Soul Reaper Academy ended up being her saving grace, offering something of an easier transition into her new life...or afterlife. It was like stepping back into college, it made things easy even if it was so different. She picked up on things quickly, making a few friends along the way and finishing off near the top of her class. All things considering, everything was going better than she could have hoped when she first arrived.
Shang Takahashi was her closest friend at the Academy, a boy who had been born and raised in the Rukongai. He was just a little rough around the edges, having been raised closer to the Seireitei and he had always been nice to her. After the Academy they even ended up in Squad Ten together. Even with their new responsibilities, with the fear and risk that came with fighting Hollows, things were still calm, comfortable. There came a day when the two were ambushed while in the world of the living by an Arrancar and a group of Hollows. Mizuki was engaged with the Hollows, only able to listen to Shang and the Arrancar as they fought and the dialogue in between. By the time reinforcements were sent, it was too late. That was the last time she heard his voice, the last time she saw him alive.
After a brief leave she has stepped up to again take on her responsibilities as a Soul Reaper.

Spirit's Name:Hasu Arashi
Spirit's Appearance:Hasu Arashi resembles something like a cross between a cat and a rabbit, but even with her slightly strange appearance, she is still beautiful. She is a playful spirit, often found swimming in the pools or scampering around on the ice of her world. She is also known to perch on Mizuki's shoulder or hover in the air beside her when she feels like being 'inspirational'. She never actually speaks, but communicates with Mizuki telepathically. Mizuki prefers it this way, that way she doesn't have to go around bickering or chatting with her out loud and look like she's crazy.
Spirit's World:The domain of Hasu Arashi is as strange and beautiful as the spirit itself. Everything is in hues of blues and whites, seeming to be an enormous bubble of ice with a tranquil pool of water at the bottom that seems endless. There is a rim of ice just big enough for walking all the way around the pool. With closer inspection to the walls there are little tunnels leading off into places still unknown to Mizuki. Everything sparkles and glows with some unseen source of light, giving the place a beautiful and mystical atmosphere.
Spirit's Personality:Though gentle and kind, Hasu Arashi tends to be impatient. She is also rather picky when it comes to Mizuki's attitude, sometimes refusing to respond when her thoughts are in too much turmoil. Despite that, she is incredibly loyal.

Shikai Description:
Shikai Appearance:When released, Hasu Arashi retains its regular katana form, the blade becomes iced over, giving it a frosted look.
Shikai Abilities:When Hasu Arashi is released, the blade gradually freezes, ice taking it over entirely. The temperature in the immediate area drops slowly, the colder Hasu Arashi becomes. Wherever the blade pierces flesh or clothing will freeze.
Rain of Frozen Petals (Rein touketsu kaben):Mizuki can further affect the temperature by using her spiritual pressure to drop it. Over time, the water in the air will start to freeze. The droplets gather together, resembling floating lotus petals. Once enough are gathered, Mizuki can use this technique, sending these shards raining down on the opponent. It is a deadly attack if executed correctly, but also leaves her vulnerable due to the level of concentration needed. This attack can only be used once before the process has to start over.
Ice Slash (Aisu kai):As the water in the air around her freezes, Mizuki can manipulate the droplets using her spiritual pressure. She can create a sort of current this way, using it it cut and slash her opponent. This can also be used as a defensive maneuver to deflect attacks and guard.
-The temperature will drop as long as Mizuki's spiritual pressure continues to rise.
-The concentration it takes to form the ice requires a lot of time and energy, Mizuki would be most vulnerable during this time.
-Slashes and cuts made by Hasu Arashi have a chance of causing internal bleeding.

Bankai Appearance:The sword itself remains fairly the same, becoming snow white when Mizuki enters her Bankai. An ice star and circlet form across her forehead, wrapping around. Frost and ice cling to her clothing, resembling a robe or gown.
Bankai Description:Unchanged
Bankai Abilities:Besides the typical enhancements - increased strength and speed - Mizuki is able to control the area which is affected by the temperature while in her Bankai, able to center it as closely around her and her opponent or expand it as she wishes.
Ice Tempest (Aisu Arashi):Similar to Rein touketsu kaben, this creates an ice storm of even larger proportions. It too requires concentration, but causes a complete change in the weather, rather than of her own energy. Mizuki is able to gather the clouds and water, creating a storm. It can vary on how long it lasts, depending on Mizuki herself. At its best, she can keep it up for quite a long time.
Hakujou Aisu (Cruel Ice):Mizuki doesn't enjoy using this technique, that and its power are why it is reserved for her Bankai only. At close range she is able to manipulate the water in an opponents body, causing it to freeze. She can only use this on one location at a time (arm, leg, etc.).
