My recent Netflix addiction has led me to True Blood. I'm in the middle of season two, so pwease no spoilers.
Basically, this thread exists to:
TALK ABOUT TRUE BLOOD WITH ME. Because I have only my boyfriend to talk about it with IRL. heart

I'm weirdly fond of it because of the AUSTRALASIANS REPREZENT it's got goin' on. Anna Paquin is a kiwi, one of the werewolves I think might originally be Australian but lives and works here particularly on Outrageous Fortune (where he played a guy called, ha, Wolf) and Sookie's brother was Vinnie on Home and Away when I was a kid. I looooved Vinnie! he was awesome. So I'll always be fond of that guy.  AWWWLOOKIT. For what it's worth he's aged remarkably well.

I have to say that it is a lot of fun. I only have the first season. The book series my friend has gotten me into. I have to say it might be a bit better than what HBO has done.

Haha, Jason Stackhouse. So ridiculous. He has his own theme music.
We just finished season two last night. Maryann makes me want to barf. Her storyline was just obnoxious.
How are the books, Pluto?

I like Eric there is something about him, Bill I think he is annoying, Pam well she is just funny and has a wicked sense humour. Tara annoys the hell out of me but her cousin laffeyet is great find him really funny. The Newlands and their fellowship of the sun well they just need shooting. Godric was cool liked him.
Shall be interested to see what happens with the fairy folk and werewolves in the next season. Damn I wish I could get HBO scream

My friend got me addicted to True Blood. I have watched the first three seasons and I love them. I love Eric, Godric, and Pam. Sookie is pretty kick a** too. Oh, I love Alcide and Jessica too!
I want to start reading the books. I have heard that they are very different from the tv series and that they are really good.
I can't wait for season four to start at the end of the month.

From what I have read of the books, it is a very different storyline. The T.V. series does follow it to some degree. I just have to say that it is all around a great time.

True Blood is an awesome show, I am on the third episode of season four, I will say I like Sam, he is pretty cool.
