I've had that feeling since I got brutally dumped and every time I looked at her it just hurt worse. There is nothing worse than dating someone who's only intention for you is a distraction until the real person they want is ready to go out with them. Then you get tossed aside like you never meant anything to them. But lucky for me the girl she ripped my heart out did the same thing to her.It may make me a bad person for laughing but I feel that justice was served and I will find another this time someone who will really love me.

I've had this feeling before. I got over it, luckily, or I'd be in a bad place right now. I mean, sometimes something just affects you so greatly that you can't seem to push past it, but moving on is where the true strength lies. You realize that, after getting past it, nothing can stop you. You've gotten past such an intense feeling, and hopefully come out better off than before, that you can take on the world. Don't let heartache stop you from living, or else you may never be alive.

I really don't think you can go through life without experiencing this. It's always the ones that you love that can hurt you the worst.
When my partner and I had issues a few years ago I couldn't eat, sleep or poop, my life ws at a loss.
We got through the problem, but the memory of the hurt never goes

It is a very common feeling. Every time it happens, your heart cracks a little bit. Some people have had it happen enough times where they are surprised that their heart hasn't shattered already. But the heart is stronger than most realize.

Best friend pretended to be in love with me, got me drunk, used me for sex, dumped me on my doorstep and called me a whore for my troubles.
Oh... and he told me never to contact him ever again.
First person I ever felt I was close to and loved.
So yeah, I know how it feels. Time heals your wounds. But it doesn't remove the cynical feeling having your heart broken gives you.
To never ever feel that pure pleasure of completely open and unselfconscious love ever again. That's what I feel I've lost.

Yes.
One of the hardest ones to get over was where I had to "dump" a girl because I knew she liked being "playful" with her friends and I knew she was hurting changing herself so she could be with me... She was so hurt by us breaking up we didnt talk again.
