The ruins were old and decaying, with pillars of stone long since toppled over, moss and cobwebs litering ever corner, and cracks and holes littered throught the the ancient walls.
A blonde, winged figure slowly walked down a long hallway, his gloved hand running gently along a dust covered wall as he silently admired the architectural work done here thousands of years ago. It would have been a place of great beauty had it been kept in shape...a perfect place for a perfect piece of artwork, he pondered.
He walked now through an arched door and gave a faint smile as he watched milky light drift into the room, reflecting the light from the water above them.
Water? Yes...This temple was hidden and protected under a great lake, magic preventing the water from drifting into the building. There was silence all around, as well--except for the occasional trickle of water from some whole in the barrier. But then...an echo broke through the silence--the sound of a rock coliding with another stone, and Krad turned his head quickly to look behind him, his eyes darting the area quickly as he called out, "Who's there?"

"Kyu," A rabbit like figure, of sorts, sat staring at the blonde for a moment, large ruby eyes blinking in confusion, A moment later, a figure approched. "Well, well, well, look who's here. The hunter, eh? How's life been treating you Krad? Free from you tamer, I'd have thought you'd be after me, but, I never see you anymore," The violet haired man said mockingly, smirking all the while, and picking up the rabbit like animal.

The blonde's eyes narrowed. "You. How did you get here, theif?" He said coldly, his nerves already on end from the sudden intrusion. "And why are you here?"

"Ah. How I got here is for me to know, and you not to." He grinned andtook a step towards the blonde. "You stopped hunting me. Why? My purpose was to steal Hikari artworks, and not get caught by you, now, you've stopped, what's our purpose now? We're free from our tamers, what's the point of our exsistance?"

Krad watched the violet haired male before him with narrowed eyes. "That's for me to know, and you not to," he said icily, flexing his white wings slightly.

"Oh, that's cold." Dark replied, supressing a grin, and taking another involentary step towards the blonde.

"What are you doing, Mousy. Is this some type of game you're playing? Because if it is, Let me tell you: I don't feel like it. I'm busy--go away," he hissed, drawing a feather as the theif neared.

"Ah, fine, but, I was wondering if you cared to go with me to...I don't know, check on how our tamers are doing, I'm sure you'd love a chance to see your precious Satoshi-sama, and I wouldn't mind seeing Daisuke," Dark replied, frowning, and taking a few steps backward.

"No. I don't want to--I'm through with my tamers--I don't ever want to see any of them again," came the colder still response. "How dare you show your face here just to ask me that? Get out. Now. I don't need rats here."
Though Krad's words were cold and harsh, inside he really was curious...Why had Dark come here? Surely it hadn't been to ask that stupid question...How had he gotten here, anyway...? The blonde was under the impression it still had a cloaking spell over it...

"Alright, but, I will find you agian, someday, Krad, The light can't hide from the darkness forever," Dark gave very sly smile, then turned, and begun to walk out, back the way he came.

Krad crossed his arms as he watched the theif. "Tell me, though, before you leave...Why would you want to find me?" He asked, raising a brow suspiciously at the other's back.

Krad still gazed at the back of Dark's form through narrowed eyes, twirling an elongated white feather between his fingers.

"They are not. Angels are beautiful creatures who charm poor fools to fall in love with them, then destroy their hopes and dreams. They are anything but weak, and they don't get used, they are the ones using people," Dark turned around, amathyst eyes narrowed at the blonde.
