Age: 17 Born: September 26, 2074 in Upper Pyongyang, New Korea Gender: Female Race: Transhuman (Naturally Born) Height: 4' 11" Weight: 99lb "Job Class": Engologist Appearance: Now, naturally the first thing any individual in this day and age would do is first take note of her bizarre hair color. Of course in her era, it’s one of many expected colors for any genetically modified human, a bright lifting neon blue hue, especially seen in transmen with vastly advanced intellects. Being naturally born however had diminished her chances of possessing heightened strength, unlike her peers who’s parents chose for supplementary modification through commonly practiced +gene therapy before birth. She’s still unsure why her parents wouldn't do such a thing for her, it is the normal thing to do anyway. Her iridescent eyes would change color in the reflection of light like everyone's eyes would. Unfortunately, she still lacks the ability to see ultraviolet light, explaining why she must always carry her multi-vision goggles, and even wear them in class like she was just another dust-born human. And to make things even worse, due to the lack of pre-birth modification she would be not one of a few, but the only transhuman to be known as a late bloomer. Not exactly the greatest way to be recognized by the few friends you have…
Background: A rather timid child growing up, she was considered to be tremendously intelligent among her peers. Despite her being one of the top students in her class, she would regularly be taunted for only having one transhuman parent. In society many people still held views opposing relationships between transmen and human, let alone marriage. Malformed’ or the more uncommon ‘Mutant’ would be the words humans and transhumans alike would use to describe her upon discovery of her publicly upsetting secret. Her usual reaction would be to hide how she feels through laughter, which it still is. Still, she would look up to both her parents all the same. She was very loving to them, and was especially fond of her father, a rather eccentric man, who even in the face of his "disadvantages" was a speculative physics professor who specialized in time travel theory and wormhole manipulation. Rather than stay at home with one of the highly convincing android caretakers, she would accompany him down to the lecture hall and listen, enraptured to his lessons, even if no one else in the room could ever take him, a dust-born, seriously. Her mother, also a scientist, worked with computer technology and gave her one of the first multi-screen hologram computers, a Holo-glove prototype. It had been developed by a team of handpicked scientists, all of which were on a first name basis with Aranel. Even with life's few tribulations, it was a happy childhood filled with intellectual stimulation. Pity what happened to her parents… (credit to Alerleilalujah for the short bio. I... may have added a bit in. =P)Family: Jupiter Sage, 43, New Korea Adam Sage, 45, New York

Skills: Gadget Improvisation - Thanks to years of examining gadgetry, Aranel is experienced in creating new non-lethal inventions with fragments of older or even obsolete devices. Electronic Warfare - Complementing her ultramodern engineering skills, she also has a complete understanding of binary code and can use it to tamper and sabotage anything electronic given enough time. Equipment: 60tbHolo-glove w/ DampShield v.14 - The main tool on hand for any citizen in the late 21st century, a basic Holo-glove is used to quickly search for topics of interest and keep in contact with friends via Multi-Network Access and also functions as an innovative key for registered equipment. This new prototype however, had yet to be given a proper ID and functions somewhat as a digital skeleton key. Included in this upgraded PC is an auto-hack command to help give total access to any and all things mechanical, with or without consent. Though this is usually used for construction companies to protect its human workers, it also has an upgraded DampShield program which protects its user from potential threats such as ballistics, radiation damage, and fatal impacts. The weird thing is, the skeleton key programing in this is illegal on earth... what were her parents doing with it? Multi-vision Goggles - The humans, now considered to be second class citizens, use these goggles to see lights beyond their limited comprehension of the electromagnetic spectrum, allowing them to see and read commonplace written material in the upper class cities of earth. Aranel, also lacking in this ability, requires them in order to understand what is being taught in class. Sidekick's Mask - A plain black mask. +1 awesome when equipped. Ehrenfest Device - Generally because Aranel was frustrated with how long it took to cook in this decade (60 seconds for a hot dog feels like forever…) she brought it upon herself to create her latest invention, a handheld wave-particle device which can instantaneously manipulate any material’s transition phase. In layman’s terms, it can change the thermodynamics of a substance, which can also change a solid to liquid to gas to plasma. In plain English, it makes things hot or cold. Because it uses light wave particles to transfer energy, its secondary function allows it to be used, once charged, as a non-nuclear electromagnetic pulse wave! Note however, that it cannot disintegrate living cells. It also cannot set objects on fire nor freeze them in their tracks unless chemical compound is known to be highly flammable/ instant chill. It could only give you major brain freeze or momentary hot flash. The Best part of it all is, you can cook a hot dog in 4 seconds! Retro Wig - An old relic found in this era that is used by humans in a practice once known as Cosmetics, an act with a means to disguise the appearance or odor of a human. this tools primary function was used to disguise a user's head.

Weaknesses:
EMP - An electromagnetic pulse and temporarily disable any electronic equipment, rendering her helpless.
Magic - A pure source of magic seems to be unidentifiable to her DampShield, leaving it unblock able. However, Elemental magic projectiles such as fire, light, earth, and so on are still registered as potential hazards and can be neutralized.
Tech cannot manipulate wood or living tissue - The Holo-glove's auto-hack secondary function is to control non-digital machines through sonic vibrations. Material resistant to such vibrations like wood or flesh are well... resistant. Though I'm sure it tickles the hell out of your feet.
Fears:
Claustrophobia - nuff said.

Relationships & Impressions: Positive<-scale->Negative
Mechanical Phoenix - I've now been dubbed as a sidekick to Mr. Phoenix! Awesome. Ada, Drunken Master - I think she might be one of those friendly, yet violent drunks... quite honestly, I'm surprised people still drink alcohol in this time!

Yay another tech person in the dome! We need more tech people.
And yes I am aware of the hypocrisy of this statement due to my current character's abilities. I suppose I'll probably go back to using my tech character soon enough.

Yes..there really is a lack of techies. We are the minority here. When will the magicians realize that we are capable of everything they can and more? They all just think we're all guns and nukes. Well, that is mostly true with Remus.

Uh-huh. But Limson's more of a hybrid of conventional methods and technology thanks to the dataspike programs and so on. ._.

My tech guy makes man-portable rifles capable of vaporizing tanks. Then he upsizes those to be wielded by giant robots. =D
