Fey walked off the cobblestone path over a brick wall to the river on the other side. The calm waters would set anyones mind at ease.

Rosangela Rossi Rosangela learned on the brick wall beside Fey and stared at the graceful waters of the river. For some strange reason, she remembered overhearing the village ladies discussing pushing her in a deep body of water as it was supposed to get rid of changelings. They're silly, ignore them. she told herself, shaking her head. As she stared out at the water, a sense of calm came over her. "So, any ideas of how you're going to make a life here?" she asked Fey.

Fey smiled, entranced by the moons rippled reflection in the water. "I always hunted and thrived off the land...so if there is a forest around here i'll be set."

Rosangela Rossi Rosangela looked at Fey and smiled. "I love the forest, I haven't been able to really spend time in them since I left the village I was born in though." she commented. "Personally, I've always enjoyed cooking, so I thought maybe I'd start up a bakery, maybe a small restaurant." she mused, a small smile on her face as she turned back to stare at the calm waters.

Fey kicked his boots off and soaked his feet in the cool waters. He then dangled his hour glass on a staff over the river, swinging it back in forth, its illumination beckoning fish to bait it. "Seems you got your future straightened out. nice to see someone has their luck going for them on this cruel mortal plane." His small talk was interrupted by a fish who finally settled the debate on whether or not to jump for the glowing sand glass. Fey snatched the silver scaled creature gracefully from the air and continued, "So will you be settling down with a strapping young man in this bakery of yours?" Fey inquired turning around with a grin on his face.

Rosangela Rossi Rosangela watched as Fey sat by the water, whereas she continued to lean on the wall. She watched him grab the fish and smiled. "Believe me, this is the first bit of luck I've had going for me in almost 11 years." she commented dryly. At his suggestion of a man, she laughed. "Wouldn't you like to know, jealous are we?" she taunted before adding, "No, I don't have anyone, it would just be me, unless I manage to find someone."

"Jealous? Believe me, Rosangela, when I say over the course of who knows how many years I have existed, if I wanted a partner I think I would have ascertained all things to acquire one by now." In his mind maybe he has had one, he wasn't sure of his age and maybe no one on Earth even knew it. "But, as it stands, I am just squatting here for as long as any higher figure will let me...Seems I will be sleeping outside tonight." He sighed as he tossed the fish back free...for now.

Rosangela Rossi Rosangela laughed heartily and smiled. "I was just teasing you Fey, don't worry about it." she said as she sat down beside him. "I think I'll get a room at the inn tonight, and start looking for a shop tomorrow." she mused. "I saw a forest as I was entering the city." she told Fey, looking at him with her bright pink eyes. "We could go explore that tomorrow or something." she suggested. Rosangela hadn't been in a forest since she was eight, so she wanted to check it out, but she certainly didn't want to go there alone, and since Fey was the only person she really knew..... "What do you say, it would certainly be safer if we went together." she asked.

Fey shifted his eyes towards her, but didn't turn his head. "Safer for you maybe, anything that attacks me out there is food I don't have to find, but do not fret fair maiden, I will protect you with my life!" He mocked posing pompously and humorously.

Rosangela Rossi Rosangela laughed at the pose he made, her voice a light giggle. "It's been a while since I've been able to laugh like this." she admitted wistfully. She looked out at the river and smiled. Her eyes faded to a dark blue, and she looked up at Fey. "Being a slave isn't exactly an easy life, personally, I'm still a little surprised that I don't hate the world." she said. "Oops! I let it slip! That's my story, I was a slave for 11 years, not exactly a lucky or cheerful existence." she added, looking up at his face, searching for signs of hostility.

Fey blinked a bit perplexed. "You're a small girl, I thought you were eleven...how old are you?" he inquired with blissful ignorance of the harsh world of slavery.

Rosangela Rossi Rosangela smiled at Fey. "I'm nineteen, and I thought Hoshi was bad with guessing people's ages." she said, shaking her head, refering to another slave she used to work with. "So what about you?" she asked, "are your really going to just live out in the forest?" she asked, wondering how he'd be able to do it. "I mean what about when it snows and everything?" she continued. As if on cue, a few flakes of snow began to fall. Smiling, Rosangela stuck out her tounge and caught one.
