Rishi released a long sigh. She was getting tired of being used to threaten Toph. Where was the honor in it? "If you think he'd actually just sit and cry, then you don't know him very well, Lord Verin." She paused for a second. Joining Team Nightwalkers was the hardest thing she ever had to do. She hated being against Toph. "Let's get this straight. I fight for myself-not Verin-always have and always will. I just happen to hate the sun."
She cast a glare at Verin. "And if you make a threat like that one more time, oh dead one, I'll not hesitate to break off your foot and shove it so far up your ghost arse that they'll never be able to find it again, understood?"

He balks as he is threatened by his OWN admin. A look of calm washes over his face as he turns to dergan.
"Dergan~<3.......would you mind setting up the ship's computer to the mainframe...? Thank you~<3!"
As the order came from his lips, dergan began to shudder, a look of REAL fear filling her amber eyes with dread. She Sauntered off like she was being burnt from behind as he turned to rishi, as he spoke, a feeling of dread began to creep up her spine, as though she could understand the undertones of what he was saying.
"RIRI-KUN....You make me SO happy to have you as a Nightwalker...i just hope you and Dergans girl time later is uninterrupted...and FUN~<3"

Rishi shuddered and took a step away from Verin. Her body shook with fear. She had threaten Verin and would pay the price. She didn't want to even fathom what he had in store for her. She swallowed back the lump that formed in her throat. Show no fear, show no fear.
"Please forgive my rudeness, Lord Verin. I did not realize what I was saying," Rishi said, her voice remaining flat and emotionless although her body shook like a leaf.

Topher clinched his fists in rage as Verin spoke, to the point that blood trickled from them. Dripping to the ground as he stared the ghost in his spectral eyes.
"I'm so glad...that Hell wouldn't take you. The torments there, are not nearly enough...not for someone like you."
He looks down at the small pools of blood that were forming on the ground.
"Verin, do you see that blood? That is my life...dripping away from me. Life, something you have long since lost. That's your goal right? To torment me until you've drained my life away? I don't care about that, my objectives have never been self preservation. Sure I would like to live, but that's only if I can. I would gladly give my life to destroy you. Do you know why? I have something more important than life...my friends, they're important to me. But above all of them even...there's her. This isn't about goals, ambitions, or self preservation. I fight, to preserve this world, so that Rishi...will have her life. If you wish to try, come at me...kill me, capture me and torment me, whatever you want...I doubt you could anyway. But.......ONE THING I WILL NOT ALLOW AS LONG AS I DRAW BREATH....is for you to harm her in any way."
Topher reaches down to grasp a Pokeball on his belt, in the case of an attack. His blood spills over it as he clinches it, ready to fling it out if need be.

"...you believe that i am evil.....but do you KNOW why i do what i do, maggot?" A hurt tone replaces the sarcastic, hateful speech so often heard. Looking up, his twisted eyes are full of sorrow. "I thought you were my friend....but you want to leave me.....YOU ALL want to leave me....287 years....47 days....8 hours and counting......" He begins to cradle his head in his hands, tears flowing freely and fading into mist. His next words are those of a broken man. "You all are the same....Growing old and dying without saying goodbye, NEVER STAYING HERE....WHY? WHY AM I CURSED TO DO THIS? WHY DO YOU HAVE TO DIE?!?!?!?"
As he screamed, the air around him grew a sharp chill.
"That's why....if everyone dies....and stays like me...then no one will ever.....EVER leave me."

Toph's bloody hand slowly moved away from the Pokeball. He stepped forward a bit as he replied. "You were my friend Verin...you were. But...your not now. Not after what you've done. If you give up this whole thing, maybe one day...I could forgive you." Topher lowered his head a bit. "I can only imagine the torment you must feel, watching everything you've ever cared for fade away in time. But Verin, your being selfish...attacking your former friends just because you don't want them to leave you?" He paused for a moment. "Verin, you don't truly understand me either. I'm different from LF, I don't care about leading an army, or fighting in the name of the PWF. This war doesn't matter to me in the end. I just chose the side that I felt was in the right. No matter what side I fight for, things won't return to normal from fighting. I offer you this now Verin, we either go back to the way things were, or I'll destroy you and anyone else I have to in order to stop Team Nightwalker." Toph stops to look over at his love for a moment. She was scared, and not doing a very good job of hiding it.
"AND IF YOU CONTINUE USING HER AS A TOOL TO TORMENT ME...YOU'LL FORCE ME TO DESTROY YOU. I HAVE THE MEANS, AND I'M MORE THAN CAPABLE NOW!"

Though the fear, Rishi felt sorry for Verin. Alone and suffering for so long. It explained why he was crazy. Who was she to judge. She was crazy too. There was no way Rishi would've survived as long as her leader did. Her fear had lessen until Verin uttered that last line. He complained about everyone dying and yet he wanted everyone to die to stay like him.
The steel gym leader tilted her head to the side, confused. Usually, ideas like that made sense to the weird girl but this one, Rishi just couldn't get her mind around. "No wonder I didn't do well in psychology," she muttered quietly to herself.
Force me to destroy you. Her eyes snapped to her Toph. This shouldn't be happening. No matter how twisted Verin had become, they were still friends. No one should be destroyed, even if the leader using her as a tormenting tool did piss Rishi off beyond belief. She could feel her fear rising. Fear of her punishment. Fear of her friend, Verin, getting hurt. Fear of Toph getting hurt. Fear of not being able to do anything. Her hands hung at her side, useless. You'd think a gym leader would do better in these situations.

This'll be the first time in a week
that I'll talk to you, and I can't speak.
It's been three whole days since I've had sleep...
...'cause I dream of "her" lips on your cheek.  Rain could feel the tension in the air before she even set foot into the area. She hadn't seen her best friend in a while, and her leader was nowhere to be found, so she had decided to take matters into her own hands and search. When she found them, she was surprised to see Toph as well. Then the gravity of the situation hit her like an anvil in an old cartoon and her breath caught in her throat. She walked calmly over to Riri and touched her arm. The fear her friend was feeling enraged the young woman. How dare someone make her feel so helpless? What kind of heartless...? Of course. Lord Verin had used her against Toph, why didn't she see it before? Riri must've been just a pawn to him.... "Don't worry," she said calmly to the girl beside her. "It'll be okay. I promise, I'm here for you now. You aren't alone." I got the point that I should leave you alone
but we both know that I'm not that strong...
I miss the lips that made me fly.

"Are you calling me selfish then!? I just showed you that my reasons for fighting were completely selfless!" Toph's hand flies up to point at Verin, a few droplets of blood fly from his hand. "Your like a child, throwing a tantrum because you didn't get your way. Well...maybe you deserve some punishment?" Toph looks over and notices Rain as she walks up to comfort Rishi. This was good, Rishi would be safe if this became a battle. He doubted that Rain would do anything but protect her if a fight broke out between he and Verin. Now was his chance. Clutching the blood covered Pokeball in his grasp, he unleashed his Shiny Umbreon, Eclipse. "Eclipse, Dark Pulse him!"

grinning, Verin deftly jumped backwards, throwing a pokeball down. as It lighted into the air an electronic voice rang out into the air. Verin's electrode, Gigaboom, sat and shimmered in the light, his polished blue color like a gem.
"GIGABOOM, USE MIRROR COAT."
He began to cackle as his electrode began to glow brightly. As the pulse hit him, it whirled around him like rings around a planet before being hurled back at the umbreon, double the power of before.
