Pretty much nothing.
Back when guilds were first created, a "guild house" feature was planned for the future, and that's what donations would have gone toward. The idea has long since been scrapped. The guild fund is now only used to purchase subforums.
So hang on to your gold. There are no plans for more subforums, and even if we did need them, I'm insanely rich so I'd just buy them myself. 3nodding
