Hello lovely ladies! Today is WoW history in the making. The world of Azeroth has undergone a great and devastating change.
What do you love? What do you like? What do you hate? Who wishes they were a mage so they could charge ludicrous amounts of gold to port people around the world?

All the mages on my server (including myself) are giving ports away for practically free. I like to help people out though.
I like how Desolace looks now, so lush. Stormwind will take some getting use to, I mean the Park District, common! Though the castle looks like an actual castle now. Thousand Needles was kind of a shock. The ruins of the Speedway are pretty neat.
I LOVE the new hunter pets! The monkey with a pick, totally epic.

One of the downsides of playing private-have to wait for the dev team to fix the coding which could take a few months to a year (assuming the latter with how the one is whining) but I don't mind, I can get used to the changes slower that way (and say goodbye to all my favorite places in the old Azeroth) and I was taking a little break from Wow due to college so I really don't mind. xd
Though since forsaken is one of my favorite races to play I am really disappointed I have to wait for the Battle of Andorhal. The story details that leaked gave me tons of ideas, especially for some of my darker forsaken characters. I can see Asminara causing lots of trouble during that.

So far everything's pretty cool ... minus no ports in Shatt and Dal.
I guess bringing it up is like beating a dead horse though, haha.
I just don't understand the point. I know they've added an auction house and trainers to both cities, but they say they took the ports out to put more focus back on the major home cities ... but that doesn't make sense if they put an AH and trainers in those two cities. NO ONE who is out on NR or OL is going to travel back to their home town to do anything if they can just go to Shatt or Dal for AH and trainers ... and it's taking seriously about 15-30 minutes to get back to a home city from Shatt or Dal ... it's just inconvenient, and there are so many people unhappy about it, I seriously doubt it'll stay this way. ><

I keep forgetting I can't port from Dalaran any more. Being a druid, though, I have my ways around that. I use the Moonglade teleport spell to get to Moonglade, then go to Darnassus. There, I can use the portals in the temple to get either to the Exodar, or to the Blasted Lands. I fly from the Blasted Lands to wherever in the Eastern Kingdoms I want to go. Kind of lengthy, but cheaper than mage portals on my server, especially when you're a serial rubbish-buyer like me. Gotta stop buying pets and dying, so I can actually get useful stuff.

Cataclysm brought both good stuff, but alot of bad stuff with it as well. I'm very thankful for them hotfixes that appeared almost right after, though we all had to wait 'till those damn spirit gryphons flew the way they were supposed to. (Although I always lol'd on my Nelfs due to the fact they were not affected by the slow returning to the instance razz )
Graphical changes are nice, but they could be better. I overheard rumors that Blizz is going to redesign some of the Vanilla player models so that they look better, together with the newer models such as the Worgen and Goblins. I would love to see that. I was also a bit overrun by the look of Darkshore. Always loved that place, now in complete ruins. Almost made me cry v.v muu.. thought this also feels like rediscovering everything, which is awesome in my opinion biggrin
