 Pitch black apart from the occasional opening in the rocky ceiling, the Highland Caves are a rough and unsettling place to travel through. The paths are uneven and blocked by fierce-looking stalagmites, while equally sharp stalactites jut down dangerously from above. Cold winds are prone to suddenly slicing through the unnatural quiet, carrying curious sounds not always identifiable as pokemon from the darkness. This has sparked superstitious rumours amongst trainers that the entire labyrinth is haunted by lost souls who became trapped under falling rocks, despite the well known fact that the Ghost types found inside the caves are often prone to creating such apparitions. However, as there are hundreds of identical chambers and paths stretching far into the rock, there are still many that think there may be a grain of truth in the rumours; it is more than easy to get oneself lost amongst them without paying close attention.
This is a complex area. Please remember that it cannot be left easily once entered without the aid of a pokemon that knows Dig or Teleport, and so should not be crossed without serious intent. Sunrise Bluff may be reached beyond this area.

Gently tossing a Cherish Ball in his hand Shadow quietly walked along the darkened path only lit by the flame of Typhlosion's neck, who was poking around under rocks and into gaps in the surface of the cave. "You seem to be awful nosy today Typhlosion." Shadow said with a slight smirk on his face. Typhlosion looked up at Shadow with a shocked and then nodded.
"Well lets just hope nothing is gonna bother us while walking through here. I don't feel like battling, to much of a drag." Shadow continued walking down the path tossing the Cherish Ball with Typhlosion trotting behind him.

Muse entered the cave on the oposite side as shadow. He and umbreon crossed it by the light of umbreon's natural tattoos. "Hmm, What is it buddy?" Muse asked as umbreon started to speed up. He was running when he heard a loud crash a few hundred yards ahead of him.

Typhlosion's ears twitched and looked at the path to the left."It was probly nothing, or something that we don't need to worry about." Shadow kept walking towards the path ahead but then stoped due to the lack of light. Shadow sighed then turned around and walked pass Typhlosion, Typhlosion stared at Shadow then fallowed him. "There better be something of interest back here." he said has he came to an opening. "Looks like a place for battling." Shadow walked up to the stone formation.

Typhlosion walked up behind Shadow and looked over to see Muse. Shadow sighed and said." Does it really matter? But if you need to know I'm a Nightwalker, you don't have tell me who you are I'm not really interested." Shadow yawned then looked over at Muse. Then looked at his Poke'Gear. "Well I gotta go." Shadow walked down then pulled out a Poke'Ball and Moon Ball."Typhlosion return, now Umbreon come out." Umbreon popped out and its shiny blue rings reflected in the darkness. "Use Dig to get us out of here." Umbreon dug into the ground and Shadow jumped in.

Shadow walked along the path of the cave's cold damp interior, he fliped his scarf over his left shoulder then kept walking. "Verin wants me to find something of interest in here but I don't think I'll find anything good in here." Shadow sighed, "Life is a drag, but oh well it can't be helped right Typhlosion?" he glanced at Typhlosion who was nibbling on a Sitrus Berry. Typhlosion glanced up and nodded with a smile.
After some time Shadow and Typhlosion came back to the opening where the rock formated Battle Field was, and where he met Muse last time. "Well this place seems suspicious enough. Well everyone come out and help look for anything." Shadow grabed all of the Poke'Balls and threw them in the air. With a flash a total of 5 Pokemon appeared in front of him. "Alright just mainly look for anything suspicious, Sceptile, Tyranitar, and Umbreon look over there." Shadow pointed over to a corner in the chamber, "Mothim, Lunar, Typhlosion search over here with me." The two groups parted to each side of the chamber.
After some time Umbreon yelled and everyone went over to it. Shadow looked over to where Umbreon was staring, there was a oddly shaped stone with Ancient markings on it. "Well this does look some what abnormal. Good job Umbreon" Shadow pet Umbreon on the head then tryed to pick the stone up. As soon as he touched it, it sank into the wall to reveal a hidden passage. Shadow looked into the the passage then pulled his PDA out and called headquarters.

Snappy stepped into the cave entrance. It was black, barely enough light to see his claws should he hold them in front of his face. He had been instructed to meet up with Shadow who was supposed to be in a secret passageway along the inside of the cave. Snappy really didn't need light to make his way tjrough the cave, he simply followed Shadow's scent, which was still strong. Not much time passed when Snappy's nose carried him to his destination. Shadow stood before him looking as lazy and careless as ever. "I'm surprised you didn't get bored of waiting, and take a nap, Shadow." Snappy's red eyes glowed in the darkness of the cave. "What am I here for?"

Shadow glanced up at Snaps and then returned everyone but Typhlosion into their Poke'Balls. "Well I thought about it, but anyway Verin wanted me to search around here for anyting suspicious which then this rock," Shadow pointed to the Odd Stone with the Ancient Text pressed into the wall, " which led to this passage. This cave goes deep into the earth and it would take to long to search by myself. So your gonna look with me, search for any Poke'mon, Items, and such." Shadow put his hands in his pockets and started to walk into the hidden passage. "Also Regirock is suppose to be in here so I was also to capture it." Shadow kept walking with Typhlosion behind him lighting the way.

"Lord Verin sent me to help you search some drafty old cave?" Snappy scoffed, "Very well, seeing as you can't do too many things by yourself." Snappy proceeded to make his way down the passageway along side Shadow. The expression of his face shown a sheer disliking of this obnoxious task. Snappy barked, and waited to hear the echo. "Hmm...This cave does go pretty deep." He started dragging his claws along the side of the cave wall as he walked, leaving deep gashes in the dempened stone. "It's kind of hard for me to help you search for something when I have no clue what might be here. Regirock shouldn't take too long to find. You can capture it by some stroke of good luck, and then we get out of here!" Snappy said impatiently. He really didn't care, but at the moment, he just wanted to be hard to get along with.

Shadow just listened to Snaps words,not caring by their meaning and kept walking along the path.
After sometime they came to a lighten path, markings of the Ancient Text started to fill the wall. "Well looks like we're getting to our destination." Shadow, Snaps, and Typhlosion walked into another Chamber filled with Ancient Artifacts and Text then in the center was a capsule made of rock, then behind it a slab with the pictures of Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, and the Regi's forming a circle around what looked like to be Regigigas.
"Appearently this was to worship the Elements that created the Earth, or those that control them that is." Shadow stepped forward and looked at the slab closer.

Shadow began inspecting the ancient slab. Snappy stood silently looking over his shoulder with his arms crossed. "Kyogre, the god of the waters, Groudon, the god of ground, and the sun, and Rayquaza, the god of the sky. All together formed the world into what it is today. Being they made it by their own designs, and don't ask for praise, is it really necessary for worship? Hardly....Groudon is hardly worth any kind of acknowledgement, much less to be worshiped by a bunch of ignorant stooges." Snappy was a bit disguisted, at the concept, so he changed the subject. "The Regis....Ice, Rock, and Steel.... all three are representations of a type of solid matter. Ice being the weakest against the opposing two, then Rock, then Steel. Yet, Ice can fell Ground, which can fell both Rock, and Steel, so it is no worse than the other two. In fact, the sturdiest of the three, the Steel, is the only one that can not get super-effective damage on flying types. That just goes to show you that the strongest is not always the most durable. Rock is the only one of the three that doesn't have a weakness to fire, it actually has the advantage. Thus the circle of death continues." Snappy's philosophical tone changed to a more cold sounding voice, "And Regigigas....the normal type. It seems to be somthing it's not...a grass type. But, everyone knows otherwise. It is the vile representation of hypocrisy.... Notice this, there is but one thing that can be rid of all the Regis, and Regigigas itself.... Fighting types. It goes to show that if you want to get past that solid blockade that restricts you from your path, you have to fight for your goals! And I intend to fight with every fiber of my being!" Snappy was breathing heavily now in a fit of rage... He was thinking about the PWF, his blockade....the solid wall in the Nightwalkers path to happiness.

Shadow examined the slab and the stone capsule. "Well whatever we need is in this capsule." Shadow studied the markings then noticed a misplaced stone. He pushed it in then two torches appeared. "I see, Typhlosion use Flamethrower on the torch there and there." he instructed as Typhlosion, Typhlosion soon lit the torch. As the torches lit and consumed the flame, what seemed like locks unlocked then the capsule popped open reveling a piece of parchment. Shadow took out the parchment and unrolled it studying it closely. "This is a map to the locations of the Regi's" he said looking at the map, then another wall crumbled and another passage way appeared.
"That must be the way to Regirock." Shadow said walking towards the passage.
