So, whoever wants to fight my character Kaiou can go right ahead. Just sayin. I need to work out my fighting Rpage, so don't expect an easy fight.

Kaiou walked onto the grass of the sky lit field through a portal of darkness that covered the ground and seemed to suck the light from the area. Kaiou wasn't a dark person, in the sense of being cold and evil. His powers were just those over that element, it kind of gave off a bad impression to those that didn't know him, in a sense that they assumed he was dark and brooding. He looked out at the field as the darkness faded away from the portal he came from. His ear flicked toward the voice that came after a moment of him standing in the sunlight. He wasn't used to that much light. Where he lived, there was only the moon. It was light, it provided its share of light, but it wasn't that bright. He turned to the voice and tilted his head at her. "Hey." He said as he walked over to the woman who stood in the field with him. "I take it you're here to challenge me?" He asked curiously. His shirt tail was blown back slightly by the breeze, his arms exposed. He was a bit apprehensive about fighting a girl, but it wasn't his choice to have her fight him. "I suppose we should get started." He said hesitantly as his tail waved back and forth in preparation. Just because he was fighting a girl didn't mean that he should let his guard down.

Kaiou faded back as the slash came across at him. As sudden as the attack may have seemed, it was a bit too obvious for him. He shook his head slightly at the execution of that attack. Before he was trained like he was, that would have seem tough to dodge, but now it wasn't. But, he wasn't as arrogant as Tye and didn't let his guard drop, and with good reason. He could tell that Clair would be ready to strike within a second. He shrugged at her question and her sarcasm and stepped in. "I got a little held up." He said. He noticed a lot of things about her at first glance. Her movements were like an animal and she had a dragon tail. He had a lot of experience with those. Mainly a much, much larger versions of that type of tail.

In an instant he stepped in, closing the gap that was made by the scythe. She could keep him at a distance with that for a while. He stepped in and swung his left hand into the pole to preempt the swing that was no doubt coming. He turned to the right, stepping with his right foot toward Clair and rammed his right palm at her, aimed for her stomach. The attack was aimed more to push her back than to maim. As soon as the attack was completed with his right hand, he stepped in with his left foot going toward Clair and swung his right palm up to her jaw. He was taking it easy for now.

Kaiou wasn't taken off balance. Off guard yes, off balance, no. His feet were planted so her kick to his hand only managed to knock away his hand. As she came in for the slash, Kaiou turned at his waist and grabbed the pole, halting the slash mid swing. He was much stronger than he looked, and from his build, he looked really strong. He stepped to the side as he grabbed the blade to avoid the upward slash and yanked Clair toward him. As he pulled Clair toward him with his left hand, he turned his right shoulder toward her and swung his right elbow out, aimed for her forehead. After swinging at her with his elbow, his right hand flew out to throw her back, aimed for her jaw again. He wasn't using his powers yet, he wasn't reckless. Not like his friend. As his palm would have pushed Clair up, Kai took half a step back so he was facing forward, directly at her. He brought his right hand back around and tucked both right and left at his sides. In a blurred instant he rammed both forward at her in what, if his last attacks had connected, would have been her abdomen. he still wasn't using anything but his natural physical might, still significant to get through to even the most tough skinned creatures in the universe, but no where near his real level of power.

Kaiou's wrist was moved out of the way of the bite as he came around for the strike to the stomach. It was a smart move on her part to move the blade into the line of the attack. From her previous movements, he honestly didn't expect that, but it was nothing too serious. Kaiou simply leaned back out of the way of the swing. She was going to have to try a bit harder than that if she intended on hurting him, or at least landing a hit. As the swing had passed by, he turned so that his right foot was down on the pole end of the scythe and stepped it into the ground, coming around with his other leg for a kick to her neck. Before the kick would have landed, he snapped his leg back to a bent position and rammed it forward for her face. If she went for another bite she would be in for a very unpleasant surprise as he had covered his foot with a shadow shield to prevent her from being able to bite through. Couldn't risk being maimed so early in the fight. The attack was aimed solely to separate her from her weapon. She seemed highly dependant on her weapon, and as far as he knew, she couldn't call it back or summon up another one. He kept a close eye on that tail of hers. He'd been blind sided many times by a dragon's tail and experience had made him highly cautious of them. but, from the position he was in, a tail grab would be highly difficult to pull off and far too obvious to land.

Kaiou smirked as she bit down on his leg. Not only were his bones much stronger than a normal humans, they were subconsciously covered in an indestructible shield like the one he covered his foot with to kick her. This was something his body simply did, not something he had any control over. A defense mechanism that's been active for as long as he could remember, so upon biting his leg, she would simply pierce skin and enter some muscle tissue. Or she would have. He made sure she couldn't maim him with another shield. It was always safe to be able to stand straight in a fight, but the shield was under the skin, directly under it. He needed her to have a solid grip for his next move. He could already tell she wasn't human, and from the fact that she was so intent on biting, she had good jaw strength. As she went to sweep his leg, he jumped up using her bite as leverage as he avoided the sweep for his leg. He rolled in the air and yanked his foot from her mouth, tearing his skin, painful, but bearable.

He landed to the side of her and nodded. She was way too attached to a weapon, that was one, she could fly, another new trick. He was keeping a list. She could tell she was a dark entity, it was sort of blatantly obvious to him, so her pulling something like that would be easy to see. As he landed, he reached out and snatched her tail, extending his claws and gripping it tightly as he sank them into her tail and yanked her to the ground, but threw her to the side into the ground. As he threw her behind him, he turned and jumped in the air, being only barely above the ground and rammed his foot down toward the ground at her diaphragm. The impact would be enough to crush a cinder block. If she needed it, he would fix her up, but from what he's seen, she didn't need any help with that.

Kaiou dug his heel into the ground when his foot missed Clair and pulled himself forward as she stabbed her tail at him. Ashe came forward he turned his body to the right as the spine was thrust at him. At such close range, and with the suddenness of the attack, it would be just about impossible for him to dodge it completely, but he dodged it enough. The spine cut his side barely as he turned and he pushed the tail to the side as he moved forward. He stepped down on his right foot and rammed his knuckles on his right hand at her. It would be like getting hit by a small scale rocket from the force of him pulling himself forward and throwing his fist out. With that amount of force, if the attack hit, Clair would get thrown back. As he stopped the attack, he dug his foot into the ground and threw himself forward and flipped into the air. He couldn't go up too high or else he would leave himself completely open. As stopped and kicked off of what seemed like nothing but was actually a shadow shield that looked transparent and was only small enough for his foot. He threw himself down and geared his fist for a punch to the gut.

Kaiou's ear flicked when she flew up beside him. Taking to the air wasn't a good plan when fighting someone with wings, but he could easily turn the situation to his favor. As she grabbed his wrist with her tail, he simply relaxed. When she flung him into the ground, he faded into the ground instead of slamming. It would look like he sank into the dirt, but in reality he opened a shadow vortex in the ground that would only take him and disappeared from the strike area. The force would have knocked the wind from him had he hit the ground, which is why he avoided it. She was pushing him to use more of his powers, but only the basics. Nothing too much just yet. Portals and shields was all. He was never one to test abilities by handicapping himself, and he wasn't, he was just trying not to use his. As Clair slashed down, Kaiou appeared directly above her and swung his foot straight down at her back to drive her into the ground. He used the kick as a springboard and flipped up to land in front of her and slid as he turned to face toward her, readying himself for her follow up.
