Solitudo Caries (Desert Corruption)
The land is mass, as wide as the ocean, but life here is quite rough; fierce creatures dying to make a meal out of anything, not so friendly locals who will kill for water...and maybe for your women too, a foolish king who cowards behind his throne, an invading army from another kingdom, the underworld crime-lord controlling the cities with his/her generals and cronies, assassins with magic called talent (it's hard to find and there different types too), and did I mention that water is hard to find too? For those who craves to stand up for justice, is quite hard to find in the desert, but there are small villages still a part of the kingdom, but far from the daily crime. Here the local are more friendly with an oases to help keep the few uncorrupted by the cities. But like oases, there small and rare to find and sometimes these people are nomads/clans.
Life in Solitudo Caries, is hard, even for the up coming soon to be king, the prince; who now have a price on his head, the one who put the price there, is unknown. Politics could be the source, possibly from his own family; brothers, sisters, even cousins, even his father's bastards children from other women could crave to be king. Or is it those within the shadows, like the well known but you can't do anything about it crime lord. Who ever it is, the prince have to think of a way to get the price off his head, one way or another.
Even for a assassin in training life can be hard, VERY HARD, already he/she is ready to stand on two feet alone, but something is very wrong. To past the final test and be well know that he/she was the one, he/she have to kill the prince who is becoming king, that isn't a problem, but the big problem is that their friends. But the young assassin isn't a noble, well is disguised as one and taught well to act like one. No thanks to the number one assassin in all cities, in other words, his/her master. But telling the prince will doom her/himself and all the lies that have been carefully placed so nobody asked about his/her origins. The only way to survive as a assassin is lies, blood, and a cold heart, there no such thing as friends or loves ones, those are the ones who will kill you.
Living an a small village isn't as grand when you're a thief and the one who raised you by a witch. Make matters worse your parents left you as a babe, leaving only a name, Solitudo, very original to be named by the county's name. But lucky changed for you in your boring life, the old witch
needs to go the city for something urgent. Don't know what it's about, but you're happy to leave the happy dappy 'perfect' village...for now..
Unknowingly, these characters and many more like them, some good, mostly bad, are about to discover something of a life time. Old secrets reveal, curses made or broken, treasure found or stolen, people kidnapped, people saved, a life changing experience, friends, enemies, love, hate, life, death, and countless battles as well as drama (whether they be love or not).
But the main question is, will you join?
