Faelon sat at the shore, staring out into the setting sun. He admired the colors and anticipated the night. He had been sitting there all day, admiring the activities and watching the buzz along the beach. He was just fine where he was, watching from a corner as usual, alone. He was lost in his thoughts as the sun set and it eventually faded into night, Faelon still rooted to his spot.

Noel had decided to take a walk along the beach since it was such a nice night. She set out with her flamed torch and furry cape wrapped around her. Even if it was a nice night, being by the water would be rather chilly even with her fur. If anyone was lurking outside, they would see a flaming ball of green and white fur because of the torch but she didn't mind at all. It was a dark brown and blue male that stopped her from walking. The male was sitting in front of the water, the water lapping at his feet didn't seem to bother him a bit. Noel decided to make herself known by bounding over to him and saying hello.

He heard splashing next to him.
IT WAS A GIANT BALL OF YELLOW AND WHITE.
Faelon immediately jumped back, stumbled, and fell into the water. "What on EARTH?" he sputtered. He shielded his eyes from the sudden glare and as his eyes adjusted, he focused on a white wish with what looked like a cigar and a laurel of holly.
...oh dear gosh, i knew that salmon was a mistake. it's the bloody ghost of christmas present.
He continued staring at the wish and wondered if he had been a scrooge this year.

Noel leaped back in surprise at the male wish's reaction. When she jumped back, the torch fell from her mouth and landed in the water, leaving them in darkness. She was afraid of the dark and started to breathe heavily. "Excuse me sir but can you find the torch for me, I am afraid of the dark and can't see without it." She mumbled and closed her eyes to make herself think that it was all her doing. "I'm sorry I startled you, I meant you no harm." She decided to add as she sat down in what she was hoping was sand.

Everything was suddenly in darkness. "You don't have to apologise... er... wish, but don't go bounding toward people next time. You are... extremely.... bright."
Faelon then bent down to find her torch, as she called it. A torch! Of course. What would a good hybrid be doing smoking? He cast aside those thoughts as he shuffled in the dark, feeling for it. He then felt a piece of cylindrical wood in the dark under his paws. He lifted it, surprisingly heavier than it looked, and returned it to the ghost of christmas present.
"Here you go! I'm Faelon. You are...?" he asked, meeting her glowing yellow eyes.

Noel tapped her paw on the torch and it suddenly blazed to life. Her small mouth picked it up near the end so it wouldn't burn her. "I'm Noel." She mumbled and tried to smile but didn't want to drop the torch again so she nodded instead. Noel placed the torch into the sand side ways and moved away from it. "I am called Noel but sometimes people call me giggles because I enjoy laughing." She sat down beside the torch and took that moment to actually look the male over. He didn't look bad or scary at all, she relaxed her tensed muscles and smiled.

She had introduced herself be he still felt cautious. She was a good hybrid, a goody two shoes girlie. What was she doing hanging out with a ....zombie? And hell, she introduced herself as GIGGLES. (O.o) He still didn't let down his guard as she sat next to him in her frilly wonder. A wish with such clothes and accessories on was rare enough.
I bet im dreaming, he thought to himself, but he daren't say that to the wish who actually volunteered to sit with him. After all, people usually keep away from the juxtaposition of his normal looking coat and yet jagged smile.
He tried to stay out of the light of her torch and hide in the security of the darkness. "How are you, Noel? What brings you here?"

Noel sat in front of the other wish for a moment actually thinking of how she should answer his questions. "I am rather well, thank you for asking." She spread her paws and enjoyed the feel of the sand beneath it. "I was out for a walk I guess you could say, what about you?" The female had no real idea how to get an interesting conversation out of the wish but you had to start somewhere right?

"I'm out here because I'm always out here. The sea is a beautiful and mystical place full of stories and the unknown. It calms me and keeps me company. The dancing wind and the lapping waves are something I do love very much," he answered. He began to drift off into his own world and stared out into the horizon. The moon had risen while the sun had yet to set, now that the sun had disappeared, the full light of the gibbous moon shone on the sea. It also fully bathed the pair in light but Faelon was a bit preoccupied to notice.
The he suddenly noticed his rudeness and snapped back to attention. "I apologise for that, my uncle always chides me for behaving poorly in a lady's presence. What led you out on this walk?"
