what is a 1st Captain?
and there is no such thing as a snipermen, its a sniper, sometimes a designated marksmen

Cpt Davis JB Strife Ok 2 things..... what is a 1st Captain? and there is no such thing as a snipermen, its a sniper, sometimes a designated marksmen #1 i could tell u dont know alot about the military #2 there is a such called a snipermen Sorry to say but, he's right. There is o such thing as snipermen it's called designated marksman. And he proboly knows a lot more about it than you.

I was raised in a military family went through JROTC and a Devil pups program at camp pendleton. i would be in the military right now if it wasnt for health reason not allowing me to. In all my years i have never heard of a 1st captain.... there is a first sergeant and a first lieutenant but never a 1st captain.... snipermen isnt even a word.... snipe or sniping is the job(action) and sniper is person doing it. there is Riflemen which is basic infantry and then marksmen who would have a scope of some kind on his rifle and a squad designated marksmen carries his normal rifle and a secondary rifle that is simi-automatic. then there is a spotter who carries the same rifle. a sniper carries a bolt action rifle and is the leader of a sniper team. A sniper team can be made up of 2 people the sniper and spotter. But in modern times it has become bigger even being 4-6 members.... consisting of a radio operator, 2 security guys who protect the hide. while there is a specialty guy who can fill the role of anything that the team leader needs... while the last guy is demo/saper who prepares the exit and any booby traps to protect the team. so there is no such thing as a "snipermen"

My great-aunt is a sergeant-major in the US army, My family is pretty much a military family, all of the guys except for my brother and i have had something to do in the military.

I would do literally almost anything to join the military but i cant. my great granddad was one of the original rangers, one of my cousins won the medal of honor, and i have had high ranking family members... but i have had family members serve in every war that the united stats have fought in back to the revolution and i believe the the french and Indian war.
