I'll get this out of the way first: everyone's okay, the horse wasn't pissed off, we're all good.
We hadn't been out to see the horse for more than a week, since my hubby's been really sick. We usually see her about twice a week, so she apparently was going nuts without us.
So when we got out, she was fine, we got her out into the pen where she had some space and she started prancing and dancing around and jumping and kicking. She was trying to play with my hubby, not realizing that he is not a horse and can't be kicked (even gently) without it hurting.
She did graze his leg with a back hoof, and there is a hoof shaped bruise, but luckily the horse was pulling her punches!
We calmed her down, ran off her energy (and her farts) and everything's good now.

I'm glad everyone's ok. Horses can do a lot of damage without meaning too. They are very powerful. Though, i still wish i had one. 4laugh
