Hi again everyone.
It's your favorite Karma policewoman Vit surprised .
I created this thread specifically for the use of communication between all levels of staff/management. This makes it easier to see what adjustments, tweaks, changes and updates are being implemented and reviewed by various executives and managers smile
(Can you tell that I enjoy business acrynoms? Lol).
Fellow staff, feel free to use this conference room for Guild "meetings" and what not. If things start to get crowded, I'll create more conference rooms and title them different pork-related names so that discussions of related topics (say a good ol' meeting about discussing Guild activity) can still stay grouped together.

To: Boss Bacon; do you think we should have a page that is a Management introduction (aka Staff--that's us) page so that new members know who to direct questions, comments or molotov cocktails at? I can design one if you'd like.
Also, you never gave me an actual Sub-Forum crying I've been monitoring the actual main forums since the induction of my employment.

I think this is an excellent idea, but it needs to have one very important rule. Like all staff-rooms, everyone else needs to keep out. We obviously cannot stop them from reading what we post, but anyone not staff (anyone below crew?) should not be posting here. I... don't foresee that becoming an issue any time soon, but we can hope for an eventual improvement to our ROI, right?
Can we even do sub-forums in guilds? So far they seem pretty restrictive compared to the regular Gaia forums... we can't tip, and most of the time we don't have the emoticon button so we have to type the BBCode by hand. Oh, and if we can do sub-forums, then I'd like to trash this cubicle and get my own office... with a real door with my name and Bacon Dispenser Chief Engineer engraved in a little plaque on it, and maybe... a window? Is a window asking for too much?

Of course you can have a window. All Executive Management get corner offices. It's, like, a rule. I've come to the conclusion that you're techincally COO (Chief Operations Officer) while I'm currently acting as CMO (Chief Management Officer) even though Kalanah techincally has that title. I'm "techincally" JMO (Junior Management Officer--VP, VC, whatever you'd like to call it.) But, with my ambition, it's my goal to become CMO. Ho ho ho... xp Yeah, I'm definitely getting far to into this. Yay.
Alas, to further answer your question, yes a Sub Forum can be created. If you look under the tab for, like, Editing Forums or something....I'll double check the name sometime...you'll see an option that says "Add Another Forum" with a price tag of $2,500. That money comes from our Treasury--YES, THE MYSTERY IS SOLVED!
So, after creating a Sub Forum, you'd have to name it "Sub Forum" or give it a spiffier name, with [Sub Forum] following it, ha ha.
I've resisted creating a Sub Forum because I believe it is within our CEO's decision to choose if we need this extra Department. Actually, I've got a really cool idea of how to design this guild but alas, I'm not CMO and I'm not CEO. If I were, I'd make this Guild have seperate "Departments" for us where stickys, threads and announcements related to our Department would be posted.

As for the rules of keeping lower memebers out, I'd...have to disagree. I'd like to hear their input. In fact, I think that the more active the member leveled Baconbites we hear from should be considered for promotion, versus some of the staff members. But now, I'm at risk for trolling. eek

Me think you have super special VC privileges that I, alas, do not, friend Vitalhi. Or maybe its BetterGaia. I don't know, but I don't have those options anywhere. Are there different levels of VC? Or maybe when someone is promoted to VC there are custom privileges that can be set? I know some forums can do that; I created a web site with a forum and user privileges can be set-up individually; I just don't know how Gaia does it. Why is it that every time I talk to you I feel like I'm writing a book? Maybe I feel that I've finally found someone who can keep up with me. Yay! Anyways...
If we are going to permit everyone to post here, then there should be some guidelines to keep the thread clean, like no bumps or useless posts, for example. I don't know - as far as I'm concerned, this thread is your house - you're just letting me come over and visit. Sorry if that sounds creepy.
And no, you don't sound like you're trolling at all. But if you want to get better at it, you should probably ask Supreme Bacon Dude for some pointers.... I'm sure he is very good at it. rofl
One more thing - I am NOT a COO - (maybe a little cu-cu, but that's beside the point) I am the Bacon Dispenser Chief Engineer!!! I'll fight for that title!!! wink
...I think I watch Dilbert a little too much...

So... um... yeah... I found the Magic Button of Forum Creation, and a few other neat toys that I didn't have before.

Glad you found them--I appologize, I misdirected you. I was going to correct myself and lead you to the Moderator Controls panel.
By all means if you've got some rules you'd like to set up, please feel free to do so. Mi casa Su casa. I just realized that I probably should have set up some posts with reserved in order to lay out rules and what not, but this certainly is a little diddy tester conference room. Additional rooms can be more properly set up, though I am glad that you (and hopefully the other VCs) approve.

Alrighty Bacon Bites!
I'm going ahead and setting up a thread in the Cats vs. Dogs forum, for the Dogs Side, as another thread for Guild members to participate in wherein they can also earn BP points for the IHOB contests.
Seraphin X3R0 will set up a permalink once this is done, and members can have at it if they're loyal dog supporters.

hey there first i would like to say that i havn't slept in a good day and a half so this might be a little messy....
Vit first of all your cmo if i haven't given you the rank, yes we can have a wii, x box, computers, and what ever else we only get 3 walls with personality the wall is going to be a wall that is going to be slathered in bacon grease plus a ping pong table will be set up, a thread for management is simple. file your questions in triplicate straight to the little dipper her self, eskemo and if she does care enough then file it to dragon the dragon, vit. if vit is being lazy tell me and she's ganna get a promotion
