When does RL NOT kick our a**?

ontopic: We actually have fresh meat and new oil? I haven't seen them posting outside of the introductory thread.

As for the role play, I don't know what to do with it. It kinda died while waiting on someone. >___>;;;

Also wanted to have Omni-Black running around to but that's being thrown out the window.

Eehhh. . . It's up to you. If the new guildies are interested in the RP it'll be better. If not. . . I dunno what to do here.

We should have a mandatory time skip rule for people that's been gone for x amount of time (3 days?). >___>;; That way the RP doesn't grind to a complete stop. I think the waiting on someone usually kills any rp whether or not the rper forgot the rp/has issues with RL/etc/block o' death/not motivated.

I hate to say it, but I've had all the time in the world. I probably could have maybe snuck something in there to get things moving, maybe thrown an NPC in there, something. But I haven't been on much either, as my church has been kicking my tail. I now hate flowers and plants in general.

We do still have that alternate universe thing. While it isn't continuity, it's still there. I'm also in agreement that there should at least be a warning system. Perhaps a grace period where we wait, then send an email, then another grace period before we skip or take control of that character for a bit to move things along.

Just my thoughts on the situation.

My computer died and I just got it back this morning is my excuse for the past two weeks. Outside of that, I'm sorry I got lazy towards the beginning of the end. Too many characters to play, too much confusion... I got uninspired because I was trying to fill too many roles and then all my posts went flat. Sorry. D:

Also I'm really, REALLY sorry I didn't maintain the recap thread. Turns out life is too crazy for me to update it on any kind of regular basis. If I had time to post in the RP for a decent amount of time, I didn't have time to update the thread. It was the night that we were powering through plot that really killed my ability to deal with that thread. Aughhghasdkjhfalkjdh.

We'll have to figure out which NPC is important to the plot. Any other NPC will be a no-face.

I too want to limit the NPCs. I want to say that I was guilty of that this time around, but they weren't even non-player characters. They were just my characters. I played some of them more than I played X, and I want to change that.

That being said, I really do like the plot we've built upon (and part of me is sad that I never got to play through X meeting up with you guys again, but that's purely selfish so ignore me), so can we pretty pretty please not scrap it entirely? D:

Were it me, I'd start a new thread to make it less overwhelming, fast forward the timeline to a more interesting part (My lone suggestion for now is that OMNI takes some time to recoup its losses from the Re-Ed disaster and the crane topple, conditions Black and such, and goes on the offensive... non-discriminate rebel-purging. Harsher and more invasive than they were before, not even close to fair in their judgments, a lot of innocent blood/metal taken down for "traitorous" deeds they never committed.) The background for the new thread doesn't need all the details that happened in this one, just enough to cover the major plot points. Just an idea. D:

I'm down with that. Ash could be in maximum security Omnidrink prison and X could help spring him. Though I'm not really sure what could be done about looney tunes Hakobe unless she pulled herself together.
