Likes: Being lazy, napping, eating, remaining immobile, biting anything that gets too close.
Dislikes: Loud noises, bright lights, the idea of rapid movement or exertion.
Favourite Foods: Milk, pumpkin biscuits, gingersnaps, hearts.
Hated Foods: Anything with lots of chewing. Dislikes sausages and fish.
Virtues: Does he really have any of these, yet?...No real temper to speak of, I suppose.
Vices: Takes a lot to motivate him into action, or even acknowledging your presence.

xxxxx Why should he even bother moving at all? Valerian doesn't like hard work very much, and tends towards laziness. It's not like he can do much as a shade, in any case, and Amiel considers him more than a little useless. Valerian doesn't exactly have any ambitions at the moment to prove he's above Amiel's assumption, but maybe under the right circumstances he could be encouraged... food does elicit some kind of response. Especially hearts, cookies and milk.Disinterest
xxxxx Whether due to being too self-involved, or just that damn lazy, Valerian doesn't respond to most external influences. His actions may coincide with some sound or attempt at conversation, but chances are he's just deciding he would indeed like to roll over or find a pillow on which to nap. Food interests him. Some things unexpected seem to pique his interest, too, but perhaps these will become more clear with age.Change...?
xxxxx What exactly does consuming Amiel's heart do to Valerian's indifference and sloth? Right now, it's not exhibiting very much influence; Valerian seems perfectly content to go on being lazy, napping and eating. It seems to make sense that Valerian might have to deal with some unexpected (and perhaps unpleasant) changes later on.
