Q: Isn't Jashin from Naruto?

A: Hidan, a member of the Akatsuki in the the anime Naruto, was a ... follower of Jashin, but the religion itself is much older than that. It can only be reliably traced to ancient Japan (unknown exactly when). However, recently, more are discovering the raw truth of His power every single day.

---

Q: If you guys 'harm' yourselves, doesn't that make you emo?

A: The majority of our people do not consider themselves emo, as we are trying to fathom the pain of others, and sacrifice to Lord Jashin, not kill ourselves. Jashin greatly frowns upon suicide by his Followers. Some of us may consider themselves emo, but that utterly relies on that individual Follower. Those who do consider themselves emo are often victims of depression and ridicule from others and are in deservance of our religion, which will eventually bring yourself high enough to return the favor against those who hurt you in the first place. Therefore, if you consider yourself 'emo', then our religion is a viable option for your imminent vengeance.

---

Q: Define 'harming yourselves', and do followers of Jashin have to do this?

A: Most Followers choose the simplest way to give Him blood and therefore strength, and that is rending with some sort of blade. Its intensity is easily controlled, and it makes a clean cut that can heal completely. It also gives the largest amount of blood without providing a serious injury to yourselves. Not all Jashinists have the proper family or resources to be able to Give to Him in this way, and this is completely understandable in today's Earth. Only those who are not in a fit or favorable position for self-injury do not have to join in this initiation, and may resort to praying more often to make up for being unable to sacrifice.

---

Q: As time has passed, self-sacrifice has started to hurt less and feels good. Is this natural?

A: Yes. most devout followers grow a resistance to the hindrances of pain and find that it invokes a feeling of ecstasy. Many simply call this Pain = Pleasure, and that is another theme and an inevitable part of what Jashinism centers around. This feeling means you're growing closer spiritually to Him.

---

Q: So does Jashin love us all individually?

A: Yes. When Jashin sees that you believe in him, it doesn't matter if you are black, white, male, female, gay, straight, teen, adult, or from what religion you came from. If you will accept Jashin into your life, He will welcome you with open arms and love you as one of His children.

---

Q: Say I'm a Jashinist. How do I go about spreading His word?

A: Since not everyone is right for Jashinism, only try to convert those who you've personally deemed worthy. If they won't convert, then since they've rejected Him, they've become a heathen. Many leave it to Lord Jashin to judge the masses.

.

---

Q: My child says to be of your religion, and is constantly praying to this 'Jashin' even though me and the rest of my family are purely (insert religion here). I don't approve of their choice of religion and defiance of the word of (insert god/gods of previously stated religion here). What do I do, and are you sure your 'followers of Jashin' aren't all psychos that belong in a mental ward?

A: To be of the religion, Jashinism, is to adopt a different way of seeing life, to see things for what they truly are. Our reason for our often angry, rebellious, and devout personalities is that we see people constantly hurt by those ignorant to the suffering of others. The highest sin one can commit in this religion is to do just that; hold ignorance in the deliberate or accidental suffering of those who do not deserve it, and can be redeemed by letting oneself be killed by a Chosen by the form of our most holy ritual. You should accept the fact that your son/daughter has a different way of viewing life than you. It is entirely one's own choice to become a Jashin, and what they do with their life is entirely in their own responsibility. If your child is a Jashin, they aren't 'going to hell' or anything. We aren't all psychos, we are just often misunderstood by the ignorant in life.

Q sad In reply to previous explanation) In addition to not conforming to (insert religion here)'s standards, my child is self-harming, and claim that they have to cut themselves to "appease" this brutal Jashin! I am disgusted by your sick and twisted ways!

A: Your child doesn't HAVE to stab/cut/slice themselves in order to 'appease' Him. It is, however, the most fundamental way to ascend higher than the ignorant masses of humans and to understand what true pain is while, simultaneously making Jashin stronger. If your child knows this and still insists on doing so, perhaps they do so to make up for their sins by sacrificing small portions of their(albeit regenerative) life source, or they just enjoy the feeling of pain. Finding pain enjoyable often happens to long-time followers of Jashin, as it means they are getting closer and closer to being a true Disciple of Lord Jashin.

---

Q: After saying one of your prayers and completing a ritual for the first time, I feel powerful and tingly. Not to mention a dark, warm sense of something watching me.

A: Almost all new Followers report that they feel almost supernaturally powerful after their first proper prayer and ritual. This is utterly normal, and it is Jashin branding you with His mark. Your soul will forever have His symbol engraved in it.

@ xlastDRAGONstandingx :From what I've been able to uncover, no. No one knows what he looks like unless he reveals himself to you. My friend has seen him a few times. I, on the other hand, have not. I don't really know the circumstances in which she has seen him, or why he chooses her, but..... IDK. XD

I'm sorry but that is a load. Lord Jashin has no form therefore cannot be seen.
If no one has seen him you don't know what he looks like.
And if you personally have seen him then that is what he decided to reveal to you. It's not necessarily what he looks like.
