Small paws slipped silently over the fallen leaves. Coat rustling over thick fur in a light breeze. Orange eyes gleaming in the autumn sunlight.

Trumila continued on his walk, keeping alert for signs of any others. The male didn't care much for other Locks and Keys - more so when he was taking one of his strolls. Despite his interest in much, the cream Lock did find frequent walks and the berries of the area to keep his mood closer to happy than to his usual irritated, apathetic attitude.

Happy. That's a word I used to live by, he growled inwardly. The young male paused by a bubbling creek - his haunches sinking into the moist earth. Curling his tail about his paws, Trumila sighed and did his best to calm his growing anger.

Auroa's chains jangled as she walked, the natural fog that moved around her making the ground hard to see, which meant she tripped.... a lot. She hated her misfortune, how she always feel and rambled and made people think she was strange. She wasn't, right? She was normal...wasn't she?

No.

She was strange, fog always around her, her eyes would bleed instead if crying, and she had four wings. Four! That wasn't normal! She was tired of this... tired of being judged.

As she was lost in thought the female Key stumbled, her feet tripping over a root and sending her tumbling into a creek that was to her right. She let out a yelp, whimpering as her knees were scrapped by the rocks in the creek. Sitting up, the female stared at her wet fur, sighing sadly.

There, she just disgraced herself, again.

Closing his eyes, Trumila began to groom his face and ears - working methodically. As he continued to move his small paws over his fur rhytmically, the male heard a startled cry followed by a splash.

Paws frozen mid-air, the Lock opened his eyes to slits to look around. Just a little downstream, a Key sat in the cool, shallow water. Why was she just sitting there?

Despite all his usual rule of not following curiousity or going to others, Trumila padded closer to the pale figure. Upon approach he noticed a few unique characteristics of the female; long black hair, four wings, broken chains shackled to her hindpaws, and red stains beneath her eyes - which resembled blood...

The male Lock didn't realize the fog around the other Key, since there were light patches along the creekbed. Slipping closer, Trumila watched the female silently and with eyes still narrowed.

"Are you alright?" His voice was near a grudging growl. It wasn't meant to threaten or offend or anything toward the other, just that Trumila didn't care to talk and didn't want to start a whole conversation with someone else.

Auroa heard footsteps, her eyes widening as she turned rapidly, her wings extending and covering her face, feathers loosened by the water flying in the air and landing at their feet. She withdrew behind her wings, frightened of the newcomer, having been startled when he approached from seemingly nowhere and spoken to her. He had asked something, right? Yes! Wait...no? No, he had asked something. Was she alright? Her chains made a soft jangling sound as she backed away slightly, her wings lowering only so he could see her pale eyes that seemed to have cracked markings on them.

"I-uhm... I-I... I f-fall a lot... I mean.. I uhm..uhm I... yes. Yes.. I'm fine."

She blushed darkly as she hid behind her wings once more, embarrassed. She was stuttering, again! Like always! She was embarrassed, the light blue Key wanted to fly away, if she knew how to fly. It was hard to fly when you had more wings than the average Key. She hadn't ever been taught how, people just didn't know how to deal with it.

Trumila gave a sniff as the Key stumbled over her words. Was she incompetent? His dark orange eyes remained narrow as he scrutinized the other. Blinking, he cocked his head as he noticed the pattern-like detail within her pale eyes. He'd never seen any like that. Peculiar....

She did seem alright, though. So why was he still standing on the bank, watching this female? Backing up some, Trumila sat down on the cool grass. "Do you plan on sitting in the water all day?" His voice was still harsh as he spoke to the Key.

Auroa blinked at the Lock, staring at the ground and then him, shaking her head.

"I guess I should get up... out of your way...and such..."

She was well aware that she probably seemed like a fool to him, and as she climbed up onto the banks she shook herself off, letting out a tiny squeak as she did. The bunny extended her wings, drying them off as she shook them. The lightly colored bunny turned to him, looking slightly afraid, for she was. A strange male who seemed to already dislike her, she couldn't help feeling scared. She was naturally fearful.

"I'm sorry. I got in your w-way." She was slightly proud that she only stuttered once, paws pulling at her bow lightly before she backed away from him, much like he had.

Trumila huffed a sigh as the female apologized. There was nothing for her to say sorry for in his opinion. Scratching one of his long ears, the Lock paused a moment to think before speaking. "You weren't in my way, per say. More that I was distracted from my usual walk." His harsh voice became more of a grumble; since the male could see how afraid the Key was of him.

She nodded lightly, smiling at him warily.

"Really, thats good, I was scared I had bothered you."

She relaxed, barely. Sitting up straight, she gave the male a weak and timid smile, her own ears flicking. So, why was he out here? No, that wasn't her place. Her stomach rumbled, cheeks turning a bright red as she looked down.

"U-uhm! That.... that....uhm.. Sorry."
