Shade dug up the nearest grave, throwing aside the shovel. It took him a while but he finally completed the list of items for Anya's birthday dinner! Shade wiped across his face, rubbing off the sweat. He reached down and opened a coffin, smiling brightly. Shade pulled and tore at the skeleton's arm to get it to let go of some wilted roses. "Come on!!" He hissed out before the bone snapped, and the boy fell back on his bum. Shade smiled, "woohoo!" He shouted, holding up the roses to the air with the arm still attached.
Shade quickly stood up, brushing himself off. He put the arm and the flowers in a birthday basket that Shade had worked hard on. The boy laughed, he couldn't wait to see the expression on Anya's face!

 Corilla walked through the graves, the fog making the place creepier than usual. She kept walking, until she found the grave she wanted. She leaned against it, putting her hand over the name and her head leaning against the top. A tear fell, wiping the dirt off the grave. "I hate you so much." She said, her voice ringing through the cemetery.

Corilla heard voices and recognized them as Shade and Anya's. She blinked, another tear falling. Then she pounded the grave, so hard it made her knuckles bleed but not hard enough to move it. "God, why'd you have to die?"

"No worries I brought some food." She said revealing a basket with cookies, fruit, juice, wine, etc.

Shade stood up, kissing Anya's hand. "I'll be right back." He said, wandering off until he came across Corilla. "What's the matter?" Shade asked, looking to her fists and sighing.

"What do you want?" She said, her voice a little too sharp. But, she didn't dare take it back. She shoved her fist in the dirt, which only made it bleed more. "Why don't you go back to your little Anya?" She said, maximizing her voice a little too loudly. She covered her face with her other hand and bit her tongue.

Anya heard Corilla's shouting.
"I made her..sad..." her lip trembled.

Corilla snatched her hand away and stood up, falling back a little on the dirt. "Ha. Am I? I'm not the one who....." Then she paused and shook her head. "Never mind." Then she kicked the grave, but this time hard enough to make it tilt forward. "Stupid jerk. Had to go off and kill himself." She said through gritted teeth, staring at the grave.
