Are we completely starting over or doing a jump in time past the whole OmniDrink issue or something not so cannon?

Option A: Start over but with better structure.

At least we know what's where and limitations. Magic, tech, resources, people and all that. You could consider the current one as a prototype or an audition.

Option B: IN DA FUTURE. Post-OmniDrink.

Beyond and over with OmniDrink. New villain may be needed?

a) Rebuilding after OmniDrink war. The city is a mess. Everyone's scattered and have different views on each other. Local rival gangs want power and see their opportunity to take it while Aekea is still weak.

b) Everything is back in order on the outside. However, Aekea is still recovering from the damage OmniDrink has done to its people. The mechanical children in general distrust anyone outside of their own. Paranoia runs high as politics clash over the future of Aekea.

c) Aekea has been rebuilt and doing fine. The scars of war are deeper to a few and changed everyone's views on each other. Friendships dissolve and bloom accordingly. Just when everything seems dandy, rumor float around about a splinter group from OmniDrink's remaining forces. They want revenge.

Option C: Not really cannon. Or we can say that the OmniDrink one wasn't cannon.

a) Aekea shakes as people in power are being blackmailed left and right. Ugly secrets, nasty stories from the past, old faces resurface as shadowy figures puppet politics to their bidding. As Aekea looks into the mystery of the puppet masters, they find more questions than answers.

b) One of the old factories of Aekea has exploded. The clean up crew uncover an old G-Corp lab under it. They go in but never come back out. Aekeans have been falling ill or go missing ever since. Just what was in that old lab anyways?

c) A new model of a mechanical child has been unveiled to the public. It is sent to work in a toy factory. However, days later, the factory goes silent. An investigation reveals a horrifying turn of events. Toys become weapons of destruction, mechanical children are reprogrammed and non-mechanical people are being turned into machines by force. Just what is going on in the toy factory?!

d) Scientists are fusing Zurg and Gaian tech to create a better life for everyone. However, one piece of zurg technology has gone corrupted and starts infecting all other systems. The infective virus is not limited to mechanical children, everyone else is falling ill from the effects.

e) A new alien craft crash lands near Aekea. Survivors are taken to the general hospital. Instead of being grateful, the aliens declare Gaia to be conquered by their superior species. The town has become ground zero between the new aliens and Gaians.

f) A critically injured vampire from Durem is rushed to Aekea for surgery. However, things don't go as planned and a monster comes out of the ER room. During the rampage, the nightmare releases all of the other inmates in the asylum wing of the hospital.

g) A new group of mechanical children show up on Aekea's doorstep. They seem to be welcoming until they start turning everyone else into one of them! They don't seem to accept co-existance with other non-mechanics and go around "upgrading" them by force.

I like Option F. Aekea, arkham asylum.

Black has definitely left Aekea for another sanity pilgrimage. Also I'm pretty sure that most if not all of Aekea have a heavy negative view about her after the whole Witch mode + working for OmniDrink thing.

Storywise, I would assume that a lot of heavy damages have been done to the city, including the crane. A lot of hidden OmniDrink labs and top secret armories have been damaged. The few stragglers of OmniDrink's forces have found said caches of resources.

Now, keep in mind that since this is post-OmniDrink takeover, they're much more tactical and not so hindered by the business aspect. Probably going to have some sleeper agents running around Aekea as "citizens."

Put Aesir's tech (from the study of Ash's arm, reports on his combat abilities), Black's mana crystals (from the magic sinks that was attached to him/her while forced to work for OmniDrink), flash clones (Black had to come up with a cover for the golems), gene mods (weretigers, race swaps, you name it), proxied data networks, and of course the top secret armory. The stragglers are going to make a serious come back.

The straggler group is gonna be doing a lot of shady and illegal businesses. Since the Aekean Guard/SWAT is still recovering, they might be stretched too thin to cover everything. It's like, they know something's up but don't have enough resources to actually look into it.

Stragglers range form office clerks, the grunts (and some higher ups), the engineers, tech experts and a few re-ed staff. There's gonna be forging, information brokering, illegal re-ed/programming, false IDs, criminal framing, everything to get what they need and everything to get eyes off their back.

I don't want to throw out everything we've done so far. I love the current storyline and really did want to see us come to some kind of confusion. I don't know why we stalled, but I really wish we hadn't.

Though I do think we need to regroup and restart at least a little bit. I know at least on a personal note I was not happy with how many characters I ended up with on my plate. It was 200% my own fault, and I'm not doing it again. I was trying to move the plot along, and I never thought about what would happen if people stayed and hung out with those people while other people went and hung out with my other characters that were also in other places, and I ended up following at least three trains of thought at any given point in time (and that was all when I WASN'T playing the OMNIgoons).




So I'm voting for keeping what's happened as cannon. Time-jumping to either another major event (the final fight against OMNI, OMNI staging a rebel purge, Black escaping, etc.) or going farther into the future past OMNI like Black suggested.

I'll..... figure out how X would fit into a future past OMNIDRINK somehow. xd

I liked the one that gera liked.

I would personally like that one and if we did do that one i could just make Deceptus more concerned about others and not so selfish and just give my character a huge makeover. I personally like the future Remni-Drink forces idea.

Also last i knew we were waiting on ash and PQ (I was anyway)

It's okay Ash, at least we know you're alive and well.

If you weren't then I'd be wondering what you were doing on Gaia.

Then again, I should be packing right now.

Truthfully, I stand by my choices. Especially after playing F.E.A.R. for 8 hours straight.


And probably soiling myself numerous times. WHY WON'T THAT CREEPY NEKKID GIRL/DEADMOM/THING GO AWAY?! I SHOT IT 50 TIMES, GOD DAMMIT!!
