ANYWAY.
In an effort to bring more people into the guild, or to make our community a little more "tight-knit", I decided I'd hold a contest. (The fact that I was making one was sanctioned by our lovely Russia, though she doesn't yet know what she sanctioned.)
SO.
Since I love art, and love seeing the endeavors of people in the artistic community, I figured we'd have a... well... typical fanart contest. BUT. It's me, and I think we know I can't have anything simple by now. SO. To jazz it up a wee bit, we're going to have a cross-dressing fanart contest. Of Russia.
Yes.
I said it.
Y'all are gonna draw Russia. In drag.
And get rewarded for it.
Rules/Guidelines
(Because we all need them)
* PG-13 and below. We don't need anything /too/ gory.
* ALL STYLES ARE LOVED AND WELCOMED. Feel free to draw something in MS PAINT. Seriously. You'll actually stand a chance of winning if you do something, rather than nothing at all.
*No bashing on others' art. This is for fun. Which also means, feel free to veer away from typical 'anime' style.
* You can submit up to 5 entries before the deadline. Yes. I'm serious. Five chances each for you to 'win'. :>
*Upload your finished art to an art hosting site, like photobucket or tiny img. And don't stretch the page. If it stretches the page, resize your thumb, and include a link to the full-sized one. C:
* Multi-charactered images ARE allowed, but do not increase your chances of winning. Remember, the point is pretty much to embarrass/incense the Russia in your image. (Or he could be like, totally cool with it. It's your interpretation.)
How this is scored
On some arbitratry points system in my head.
BUT.
There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize winner. And, if there are enough people, maybe even some 'runner up' awards. :>
ALSO
You're NOT judged solely on artistic ability. (It plays /some/ factor, but only that you actually drew it and took more than two minutes to make it.) It's more judged on how amusing and in (or out of) character your image is. Seriously. I want you guys to have FUN with this, not be all worried to death about it.

* How amazing in/ utterly out of character your image is.
* DRESSES. SUPER BONUS POINTS FOR STEALING COSTUMES FROM THE ANIMATED FILM, 'ANASTASIA'.
* Also extra bonus points for having them be the dresses of Disney Princesses. No. I am not kidding you. I want to see this.
* Pink Tuxedos.
*Actual Russian Cultural garb is awesome, too. :>
