Contest ~ Winter Warmers!
My goodness it's cold this morning, I've just moved from England to Canada and although I had a rough idea how cold it was going to be I had yet to prepare myself! sweatdrop
Anyway, I've been inspired towards a small competition! There is a tiny 2k prize but it's just gesture as I'm in a good mood for the weekend! blaugh
It's a tektek competition so everybody should be able to take part, I want you to create a nice warm avatar outfit (Not necessarily in colour but more in substance) and post it here. The trick is though that it must be as cheap as possible!
Your tektek will be rated on:
Total value of the outfit
How warm it would be to wear out in the snow
Plus it must still be stylish!
Rules:
Closing date is next weekend.
All Guild and Gaia ToS must be adhered too.
The judging on style will be done by a third party (my wife who is not a member, lol) and the rest will be based on a point system so bribes and flattery will only get you a warning.
Flaming items will not count as being 'alight' and will only count as items. (for example the flaming hair will count as a red hat, not as being a nice warm fire, lol.)
Remember to watch your clothing too, if an item has holes in it that will count against your score.
Likewise if an item has weather-proofing attributes you may gain some bonus points.

The reason you need to use tektek is so that it includes an item list, that way we can take all items (underwear, socks, etc) into account. Imaginative layering will be judged on case by case. You will not be disqualified, we will simply pick the best of the two items and discount the other.
