We need to see a sample of your role playing. Im thinking if you should post a RP section to a scenario or Just have a mini tournament. I think the Scenario is better. We will be testing in Literacy, Detailing & Attacking.

I believe everyone in the guild starts as a gennin, because most likely that will be their skilled set. But this isn't a bad thing being a Gennin. You'll have allot of fun ranking up in the guild wink Plus, this way you have a better chance of actually getting better at role playing.

I like the scenario ranking system. That way, it will be even and everyone will have an equal chance to get a rank that they deserve.
If we do a brawl, it going to not be accurate in judgement. Because people have their own different skills and different imput on situations. It would be better to judge them on how they react, their literacy, and how "Ninja" like our strategy to a situation.

Well, that is true... but this can simply still be identified with a simple tournament, dont get me wrong im down for the scenario idea now but dont get the whole tournament thing wrong. You can still be tested for literacy, skill ect... and it will be looked upon.

Yes, But I don't want them to get it in their heads, if they do well in the tournament, that they wont start off being Genin. Unless they actually approach a higher level skill. If we do have a tournament, they must understand this. Again, with my stat system, it gives them limits on hos powerful their characters are, so that they are going to have to rely on their mind, and skill more than anything. This will help them become very strong individuals, and once they do earn a high rank, then they are open with those restrictions they once had. By that time, they would probably be very skilled in using a less amount of their energy, in evading, countering, ectect, attacks, as well in create combos with what they have... Now, if they are open to all of this new stuff, they can become very more creative obviously, and they will also become so much stronger, mentally more than anything, but the fact they will probably never have to over commit on anything. If you don't like the point system, I would probably never understand why, if were dealing with people tat are young minded to role playing.

Or should they go to Leradine's camp of a** kicking?
