It's taken me about thirty years to realize this but David Bowie is a Time Lord!
Think about it. He reincarnates every few years. He is extremely smart, talented and undeniably cool! He even sings all about space and time and we don't even realize it!
Starman, Space Oddity, Changes, etc. And TVC15?
Tardis Variant Camouflage 15!
It's all there!
Bowie is a Time Lord! mrgreen

So, he's a Gallifreyan Timelord as opposed to a Timelord from another planet? neutral

If we're nominating music acts as being things from Doctor Who then I nominate Daft Punk as refitted Cybermen.

A most appropriate conclusion. They'd be flattered.

Pentigan If we're nominating music acts as being things from Doctor Who then I nominate Daft Punk as refitted Cybermen. I never knew cybermen to have much of a talent for music. For many years the Cybermen I watched had only one dance step and that would be "march" but you never know. It could be part of a devious cybermen plot! mrgreen

Ramona Mantis So, he's a Gallifreyan Timelord as opposed to a Timelord from another planet? neutral Hey Ramona! The Doctor's daughter (although a clone) isn't from Gallifrey now is she? And lord only knows where River Song is from but she knows ancient Gallifreyan. I would think that there were probably a lot of Timelords that weren't born on Gallifrey.

Oh yeah. See, the Cybermen got smart after The Doctor escaped The Pandorica. They found that he knew what they looked like and could take advantage of the fact that they had no emotions. So Daft Punk was created. They can dance and make beautiful music. In Season Six, I already know what the big spoiler is:
The Doctor goes to a Daft Punk concert, and when he least expects it: BAM! He gets turned into a Cyberman.

Ramona Mantis A most appropriate conclusion. They'd be flattered. Could be Cylons (old school) as well. Maybe they're a rare cross between the two? Cybermen/Cylon Love Child!

I... Wha...? NO.
Daft Punk = Human robots. Cybermen = Human robots.
Of course, I don't even know what a Cylon is. Now that I live with my dad, I don't have access to my mom's awesome computer and therefore cannot download Who episodes to watch.

That's the reason why I don't know about them, then. I've never seen Battlestar Galactica. neutral

Ramona Mantis That's the reason why I don't know about them, then. I've never seen Battlestar Galactica. neutral YOu're missing a good cunk of sci-fi there. At one time (old series) the Cylons were flesh and blood and built the cylons (robots) to be their army. You only ever got to see one real Cylon. To me he looked like a huge wad of steel wool sitting on a highchair. The old series is campy and the production values suck compared to today but I think the story line was better. You knew who the hell was a cylon and who wasn't and there was very little about religion, at least from the cylon point of view. The new series had great special affects but it was just too damn confusing. Anyway, I'm not sure but I think the cybermen began as humanoid and have become totally robotic. I think the conversion is just a late idea because the Daleks keep getting more and more powerful. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Daleks are annoying. Seeing them makes me wonder why there was any point in putting Gallifrey in a Time Lock. I mean, I bet the TimeLords are really happy to know that they're stuck on Gallifrey in that little bubble ALL IN VAIN.

So true, and the Daleks just keep coming back and running amok.
