I find Court Cards difficult to read, especially when more than one come up next to each other.
Any advice?

Mmm. I don't really know other than studying them and developing energy and meaning for yourself. Court cards are definitely the most difficult to read, though. I agree there. I tend to get really shy with using them

I remember reading somewhere that court cards represent attributes of people. Meaning they either are that card, trying to become like that card, or expressing attributes of that card in a situation without realizing it. More than one can indicate multiple people in the question or multiple behaviors IMO. Depends on the slot it's in and what the question is about, but that's how I mainly interpret them. Same with the first 6 major arcana.
Example using a 1 card reading-
-If you're in a relationship and ask the cards to describe the relationship, and you pull Page of Pentacles, it describes the relationship as embodying those traits of trust and practicality.
-If you're asking the cards to describe someone and pull Page of Pentacles, it describes that person as being trustful and practical in the moment.

Hmm....I get all that. I just have problems with understanding people and how the traits apply to them. I do most of my readings online so I know almost nothing about the person to apply it to.

There's a number of things you can look up to help you out such as using google to search up "court card meanings".
Here; I found this in some link: Quote: "Certain things we need to assume. 1) Court cards almost always indicate people. Someone in the Querent's life (past or present), about to come into the Querent's life or the Querent themselves. 2) Yes, Court cards can be symbolic. For example, Pages can indicate a "message," Knights a "movement" or a "trip." It depends on the reading and reader. But in most cases, the cards are likely to be people, not symbols. 3) Zodiac symbols (designations) are a good way to tell what kind of person each court card is. For example, that the Queen of Wands is a Leo. But which card is which Zodiac symbol can differ from deck to deck. So examine images carefully to see which card is which Zodiac sign in your particular deck. The pentacle court card which has a field of wheat in it (for example) is undoubtedly Virgo, whether it is King, Queen or Knight." And as for how to apply... Well with online readings, there's really no way to tell how it should to your querent, so you'll probably want to tell all the possibilities of what the card could mean in that particular reading, and allow your querent to figure it out for themselves as to what the cards are trying to say. Also if you want (and believe this bit of info can help), assuming you get the info from your querent, you may want to apply the knowledge of what their astrological sign tells of what kind of person they generally are and use that info as a guide for what the cards are trying to say.

Yeah it's kinda hard since there are so many factors involved. That's one of the many reasons I ask for horoscopes when I do a reading. Even if a person doesn't share all the traits associated with that horoscope, it's a starting point to figure out their personality a bit. You can also look through a person's post history and get an idea of who they are a bit.

It is something that helps though if you want to give more precise readings, but otherwise it's best to just pay attention to what the cards could be saying for that particular reading and give out all the possible translations.
Really, don't worry if it matches them or not, just tell them the possibilities. Let them figure out the rest. As your job is simply to read and translate what the cards are saying for guidance, nothing deeper, otherwise you might lead them into overlooking what the cards are truely saying.
