Basic Information This will be the first section of your profile. It will include information that relates to the physical aspect of your character such as their name, age, and gender.
Species The species of your Pokemon. Charmander, Pikachu, Arcanine, ect. Nickname All Pokemon should have a nickname! Calling a Pikachu by its species name "Pikachu" would be much like calling one of your friends, "Human", instead of using their name. Gender: Male or Female Type: The Pokemon's elemental affinity. Pokemon may have up to two of these. It will determine their resistances/weaknesses to various moves. Egg Group: This determines which species this Pokemon will be capable of breeding with. Only members of the same egg group may breed, unless a Trainer Feat specifies otherwise.

Stats These are the stats that will determine the strengths and weaknesses that your Pokemon have in battle. In this game system, there are two kinds of damaging moves, Physical and Special. Most of these stats determine your Pokemon's skill at using or defending against these two types of attacks.
Hp: Unlike Trainers who consult their Constitution for their hitpoints, Pokemon have an actual stat that will determine this. When determining a Pokemon's Max Hp, multiply their Hp Stat by three and then add their current level. (Hp Stat*3)+(Pokemon Level).
Attack: This stat determines the brute strength of your Pokemon. When determining the damage for Physical moves, you will add this stat to the damage dealt unless the move says otherwise.
Defense: The Defense Stat measures how physically tough your Pokemon is. When your Pokemon is taking damage from a Physical move, you will subtract this stat from the damage unless the move states otherwise.
Special Attack: This is how gifted your Pokemon is with Special moves. When determining the damage dealt by Special moves, add this stat to your Pokemon's damage unless the move states otherwise.
Special Defense: This stat measures how hardy your Pokemon is when it comes to defending against Special moves. When your Pokemon is struck by a Special move, subtract this from the damage dealt, unless the move states otherwise.
Speed: This is how quick your Pokemon is. When two or more Pokemon are involved in a battle, Pokemon with higher speed stats will be able to use their moves before Pokemon with lower speeds.

Base Relation Base Relation is one of the most important concepts in this game system, so please make sure that you understand what it means, as it will make everyone's life easier. It can be a little tricky to understand at first, but is pretty easy to follow once it has been properly explained, so feel free to ask plenty of questions.
Each Pokemon has a different set of base stats, it is part of what makes them unique from one another. The following set of stats are the base stats for a Charmander. Every Charmander will have this exact set of base stats,
Hp: 4 Attack: 5 Defense: 4 Special Attack: 6 Special Defense: 5 Speed: 7
When a Pokemon levels up, they will receive a single stat point. Trainers may put this point into whichever stat they like, but it mustn't ruin the Base Relation of a Pokemon’s Base Stats. The Base Relation of stats is the order of the stats according to the highest Base Stat of a Pokemon, followed by the seconded highest Base Stat and the next highest Base Stat after that, ect.
In Charmander's case, the order of its stats from highest to lowest are as follows: Speed is at the highest with 7, followed by Special Attack at 6, then Special Defense and Attack which are tied at 5, and finally the lowest two which are Hp and Defense which are each at 4. The stats must always stay in this order. Speed must always be higher than Special Attack, Defense must always be lower than Attack, ect. The order of the stats simply depends on the original base stats.
If two stats are tied with each other, their order in relation to each other doesn't matter. For example Charmander's Base Attack and Base Special Defense are tied, so one could be higher than the other or they could remain tied, it doesn't matter.

Natures If every Charmander had the exact same Base Stats, it would make for a very limited experience. This is where Natures come in. A Nature is personality trait that each Pokemon have that will alter its base stats. Most Natures will add two points to a base stat and subtract two from another base stat, though some Natures will have no effect on a Pokemon's base stats.
Nature: Each Pokemon will be randomly assigned a Nature. These Natures will slightly modify your Pokemon's Base Stats and will change that the Base Relation of those stats. For a list of what each Nature does to a Pokemon's Base Stats, please refer to the Natures thread in the game system sub-forum.

Experience and Level-Up Whenever a Pokemon helps to defeat or capture an opposing Pokemon, they will gain Experience Points. Once they have gained enough of these, the Pokemon will gain a level. When your Pokemon gains a level, you will be able to give them an additional stat point. In addition to this, the Pokemon may gain a new move or evolve when they level up. Evolutions will be covered in greater detail in the Evolution thread, located in the game system sub-forum.
The information regarding the levels required for evolution for individual Pokemon can be found in the Pokemon Database thread, located in the game system sub-forum.
For a chart that details how much Experience is required for each level, refer to the Experience Chart thread located in the game system sub-forum.

Evasion Bonus When moves are used against Pokemon, most will require an Accuracy Roll. If the defensive stats of the Pokemon targeted by a move are high enough, the Pokemon under attack will receive an Evasion Bonus, which will be subtracted from the Accuracy Roll, making it more difficult to hit that Pokemon.
There are three different kinds of Evasion Bonuses:
Physical Evasion: Assists with evading Physical moves. Calculate this by dividing a Pokemon's Defense by five.
Special Evasion: Assists with evading Special moves. Calculate this by dividing a Pokemon's Special Defense by five.
Speed Evasion: Assists with evading both Physical and Special moves. Calculate this by dividing a Pokemon's Speed by ten.

Abilities An Ability is something a pokemon is born with. Some Abilities can’t be deactivated, whether they are beneficial or not. Others of the Abilities naturally activate, under certain circumstances. Some of them require focus to execute; releasing effects that give them an upper hand. Pokemon will only have one ability, but most of them will have it selected from two that they could potentially have. For a complete list of Abilities and their descriptions, please visit the Abilities thread in the game system sub-forum.

Moves Moves are things that Pokemon may do on their turn in battle. Some moves may also be used outside of battle. Pokemon will learn new natural moves when they reach certain levels or by being injected with items known as TM's and HM's. You will be expected to keep a list of natural moves and TM/HM moves that your Pokemon knows at its current level. Pokemon are not limited to only knowing four moves. They may learn as many as you want them to.
For a complete list of moves, visit the Moves thread in the game system sub-forum.
Each Pokemon's move set is detailed in the Pokemon Database thread, located in the game system sub-forum. The move sets will cover which moves the Pokemon will learn at which levels. In addition to this, the Pokemon Database thread will also cover which TM's and HM's each Pokemon may learn.

Example Profile The following is an example of what a Pokemon's profile will look like. A few notes have been inserted and they will be displayed in bold blue text. These profiles will be used by you to determine the outcome of battles in this game. When you receive a Pokemon, you will be expected to post its profile in the Pokemon Profile Approval thread. After it is approved, you will be expected to post it into your Trainer's profile thread. All Pokemon that your Trainer owns will go there. Here is the example profile:
You may insert a picture of the Pokemon into the top of its profile.---------Basic Information---------Species: Charmander Nickname: Pyro Gender: Male Type: Fire Egg Group: Monster / Dragon Level: 5 Total Experience: 125 Max Hp: 17 Current Hp: 17 These two stats will be used to track damage dealt to your Pokemon. Remember, the formula for calculating the Max Hp is (Total Hp Stat * 3 + Pokemon's Level)Nature: Brave Nature Bonus: +2 Attack, -2 Speed Keep track of what your Pokemon's Nature does to its base stats here.---------Stats---------Base Hp: 4 Your Pokemon's Base Stat. You will never change this unless a Trainer Feature allows you to do so. If a Trainer Feature allows you to change it, you should make a note of the change and why it has changed next to the Base Stat.Hp Added Points: 0 Every time you distribute a point to your Pokemon's stat, keep track of it here.Total Hp: 4 Your Pokemon's Base Stat combined with all of the points that you've distributed to it. This is the number that you will consult when determining damage dealt/resisted or other factors related to your Pokemon.Base Attack: 7-2= 5 If your Pokemon's Nature alters one or more of its Base Stats, it will be kept track of by showing how the Nature effects the Base Stat like this. Charmander's Nature gives it -2 to Attack and +2 to Speed. A Charmander without a Nature has a Base Attack of 7, but a Charmander with the Brave Nature has a Base Attack of 5.Attack Added Points: 3 Total Attack: 10 Base Defense: 4 Defense Added Points: 0 Total Defense: 4 Base Special Attack: 6 Special Attack Added Points: 1 Total Special Attack: 7 Base Special Defense: 5 Special Defense Added Points: 0 Total Special Defense: 5 Base Speed: 5+2= 7 Speed Added Points: 0 Total Speed: 5 Physical Evasion: 0 Formula is (Defense/5 rounded down)Special Evasion: 1 Formula is (Special Defense/5 rounded down)Speed Evasion: 0 Formula is (Speed/10 rounded down)---------Abilities---------Flash Fire The user needs a small push of fire, when provoked; their body becomes engulfed in an intense flame, which prevents further fire damage. Trigger Effect: After taking damage from a Fire Type Move, the user becomes Immune to the Fire Type and may not be Frozen. ---------Natural Moves---------Growl – Normal The user lets out a warning growl; it contains a hex that restrains the hearing target’s offense. At-Will – 2 Ranged ** Effect: No Target, Burst Growl creates a 5-meter Burst. Growl lowers all Legal Targets Attack 1 Combat Stage. Scratch – Normal The user throws out their clawed arm, scraping the target’s body. At-Will – 2 Melee 2d10 Effect: 1 Target, Pass ---------TM/HM Moves---------None

This was mentioned in the Pokemon Trainer Profile Creation thread, but it's important, so I want to mention it again.
Your Pokemon's profile must be formatted clearly and correctly. You don't have to be exact and bold everything that I've made bold above, but it should have about the same spacing and be at least as clear as the one above. There is a lot of information in profiles and crew members will want to be able to navigate through it fairly quickly since they already have a lot of work on their plate. If you don't know how to use Gaia's formatting and need help, then the crew member who checks your profile will assist you.
Copy-paste will be a good friend to you in this guild.
