Laurali was dropped off at the train station in a ministry car. "Well, Ms. Johnson, here's your books and your cat, I trust everything will be fine from here." He leaned in to whisper, "Platform 9 and 3/4 is a portal... run into the brick wall alright?"
Laurali raised an eyebrow. "Yeah I get it. Thanks dude." She walked and found her way to the platform and onto the car. SHe found an empty compartment with a girl sitting there. She looked around hoping she'd have a compartment to herself... she wasn't feeling too social after what happened over her summer. She poked her head in, "Is anyone sitting there?"

"Hah yeah, that's Rooster." She leaned back against the train, "So how long is this ride exactly?" She scratched Rooster's ears as he purred and eventually yawned revealing a spotted tongue.

Laurali smiled, "The names Laurali Johnson." She took the hand and shook it gently but firmly, "Pleasure to meet ya." She looked around, "Yeah. I'm a transfer student from the States. The Ministry got me sorted early so the first years can get done faster and everyone doesn't have to wait for their start of term feast." She gave a small laugh. "Where are you from?"

Liz smiled. "I'm from Ireland, where nobody cares if you do a little wizardry in sight of muggles. I'm ebing transferred too. My whole school is. It's an all girls school, I don't kow how well some of us will be with the guys at Hogwarts." She said, but shrugged. "Nice to meet you anyways Laurali."

Vincent had just caught the train before the gates were closed. He dragged his heavy luggage on board and started down the first cart. He knew he'd have to make his way to the end to find a less full compartment not to mention he'd have to hurry and sit down before the train took off. This ment of course he'd have to sit with people he didn't know well and not his friends. "Man. It's even more full with all these girl transfer students. Couldn't they make two trips. Geeze." He mumbled to himself, a little upset.

Vincent saw a girl up ahead looking into the compartments. She looked like she was from the transfer school. She defenatly didn't look like she was from Hogwarts. He came up behind her and tapped her shoulder smiling widly, showing all his teeth. "Oi. Most likely the least full ones are near the back." He said pointing down the hall further. Mind if I join you if you find one with two or less? I'm also late." He placed his hand on his hip leaning back slightly. He was already in his robes that clearly stated he was a student from Hogwarts and the blue and silver tie indicated his house.

She laughed, "No that's not why I was asking. I hear he's pretty sweet on a broom and good at Quidditch. I was just wondering if the rumors were true." She looked around, "I like flying... but I also like making it look like I kill myself when I do it..." She smiled, "Good fun."
