Well, as you probably know I don't throw people out just because they're on again/off again taurs, and it's because of this that you occasionally see non-Taurs in the guild. But, lately we've been getting join requests from those who are not centaurs, and show no obvious intentions of becoming a centuar in the near future. But, they do seem polite, and understanding of us centaurs. I feel bad rejecting anyone who wants to join, but if they're not centaurs then can I really accept their request?
I want your opinion. Do you think it's okay to accept requests from centaur sympathizers if they are not actually centaurs? Or should I reject anyone who is not already a centaur when entering the guild. (I'm not talking about allowing just any humans in, only the ones who are really nice in their request. Those who specifically apologize for not being a taur, but tell me about how much they respect us.)

Do I count as a taur? I also have the potion but have yet to use it and was wondering if my current avatar counts as a taur?

Yes, we've been counting the sphinx as a taur. In fact, most of our regulars are now sphinx-es. As far as I'm concerned, if it's got four animal legs, and a human torso it's a taur. Or even fauns I count as one of us, even though they technically aren't.
What I was referring to is humans. Should centaur respecting humans be allowed in?

Well, I think it should depend on the request. If they say something like "Centaurs are cool" or something like that, no. But if they say things like what you said above, definatly yes.

Alright, thanks guys! I felt the same way, but wanted to make sure none of you would be upset at me allowing non-taurs in the guild. I'll accept the pending request now. And just for the record, she seems really nice.

Sphinxes are taurs, just not centaurs. Centaurs are half horse, but taurs can be half any animal. Sphinxes are liontaurs rofl

Maybe you should post some guidelines to joining in the home page of the guild so people who are looking for guilds can see those guidelines and either follow them or not. The ones who don't will obviously not be able to join until they follow those guidelines. Does that make sense?

You know, although I have little against the humans, I think that this guild should try to stay mainly non-centaur free. We 'taurs deserve some exclusivity somewhere, don't we?
Maybe if a person is going non-taur for a while they need to add that to their siggy... Or maybe we should have a forum where people can leave notices regarding that.

I actually have a pretty good idea of how to encourage members to be Taurs at least part of the time. If/when we hold contests, games, and giveaways, you have to be a taur to win. Like the big Christmas giveaway, in the future, when we do those sort of things you will only be able to get the gold if you are a taur or taut equivalent. I will most likely use this I'm future events, once my computer is finally fixed that is. (Darn geeks, I love them but they take too long fixing stuff.)
