I understand that we may all not live in the same area. but we may have the same stores.
I'll be going to Sally's sometime this month to get hair extentions. Is there a choice of length you want? Or do you cut it yourself? Some Qs about it aswell.

Can you wash it?

Can you brush it?

How long do they last?

I sthere a special tool you HAVE to use to clean it?

It really depends on the kind of extensions you get.

They do sell different lengths, though.

No, no, no. Gurl, you in danger. Extensions are a bad idea. They look ratty and gross and fake unless you're willing to spend a lot (and I do mean a lot). Wait for your own hair to grow out! It's nicer and you don't have to be nearly as careful with it.

Mine look real and good and I pretty much treat them like s**t.

I agree with Hypephilia it depends on the kind you get.
In my personal opinion none of the extensions at sally's are up to par.
Some thing like foxy locks and hellogorgeous are really nice and thick.
But also like Elohim Called said they are expensive.

If you get them long and go to a hair stylist they can cut them and make them blend in better with your hair and it won't look fake at all.

The best extensions in my opinion are remy hair.
You can wash them brush them, color them, curl them, or flat iron them.

Hope that helps some 3nodding

I've been hunting for brands that you can flat iron and everything else without ruining them for awhile now, so I'm defiantly going to be checking those listed out.

I'm skeptical about that though, because I've heard with most brands of extensions, if you straighten them, you'll fry them and leave them looking like a rat's nest or something. I've also seen a girl I know who had amazing, real-looking, beautiful extensions before, until she washed them. Then they just looked like...hay. Problem was hers were sewn in, and she was stuck with them for a good month before her mother let her take them out. Poor girl.

So, if I was to buy my extensions from Sally's, does anyone know how much I can do to them without ruining them (i.e straightening, curling, washing certain ways, and whatever else you can think of)?
