There seems to be a trend for these. If you ask anything irrelevant,or something I find unreasonable..I have the right to not answer them.
So,choose your questions carefully.

Ooh, I've got one. Why are these things necessary? If someone had a question for someone else, wouldn't it be more prudent to ask them privately?

Maeve Gilhooley Ooh, I've got one. Why are these things necessary? If someone had a question for someone else, wouldn't it be more prudent to ask them privately? Depends on the question. Some questions I've come across are general. And either way,it would be more helpful to find out about a person publicly, rather than find out nothing at all when it's been said privately - when somebody else is.. eavesdropping.

If you were not in Slytherin, where would you like to be placed? Or would you move to another school cuz the other houses are way too weak? smile

However, eavesdroppery is much more common in public places than private. Your logic doesn't hold up, Malfoy.

Cruor Corvus If you were not in Slytherin, where would you like to be placed? Or would you move to another school cuz the other houses are way too weak? smile That's a difficult question to answer. I wouldn't couldn't change schools, though. That would cause too many complications back home - and the fact that I've adjusted to the school, enough for me to remain there. You did mention in your question the word 'like' so I'm assuming I'm allowed to freely choose. It isn't one of those things where you're forced to choose a house, and you can't avert it.So,if this is allowed - I would still stay in Slytherin,or else bones will break.

I'm saying that: if you eavesdrop on a public 'interview',you would find out more. But,in private, you can't necessarily eavesdrops, resulting in no new knowledge. I have no other way of explaining my answer.

I don't think there is such a thing as a 'private' conversation anymore.

I'm used to people hiding in the stacks, talking in hushed voices. They never notice when someone, say, a young woman reshelving books, is standing directly behind them. All I can say is, you all should consider yourselves blessed that I'm not a gossip, because Merlin's beard, the things I've heard.

@Gilhooley: Heh - I might consider working in a bookshop. Oh,I see - fair enough.
@Potter: I just don't see what's the ordeal about them.
@ Kristamort: You're strange. And that question was irrelevant.
