I hope I'm allowed to post here, as no one did earlier... *looks around nervously*
Anyways, I just read the posts, and there was some other races mixed in... And I don't quite know/understand the 'golden earring' thing, and the other markings to verify you are of that race. Was this talked about earlier in some other post...?

No worries, you are allowed to post here. That's what it's for. I should clarify that I have his profile in my character thread over here. The golden earing is to keep him from being bound to anything else as he's bound to it. He is a dijin after all.

Oh goodness, a character cafe! I love these things. <3 Some of my favorite characters have been developed through character cafes. Wonderful RP tools. I will be joining sooner or later.

I quite like the look of this role-play. I'm toying with a character at the moment, but I wouldn't logically be able to join until the roleplay has progressed to evening or so.
I haven't role-played in ages.

I kind of want to play around with a completely unlikable character. What's the stand on slavery in this world/time? What about witches?
