Chesterfield, a normal suburb with normal teenagers.
It is November, seemingly the most boring time of the year and nothing special is happening.
Everyone is leading their normal everyday life.
But how normal is it once you’ve got a glimpse behind the façade? Do you really know the people around you? Do you even know them at all?

This role-play is about the normal lives of normal teenagers…with their normal or not-so normal problems, friends and families. It is a real-life role-play and set in a normal suburb in the year 2010, so no magics and no special powers, it’s just about people like you and me.
The role-play focuses on the lives of the characters and their interpersonal relationships, there is no plot like that, the characters shape the plot with their actions and their background stories.
Therefore it is important to create round, individual characters with interesting, authentic backgrounds. Your characters shouldn’t only be ‘nice, friendly and caring’ because that’s utterly boring and unrealistic. Please avoid Mary Sues and stereotypes. Your characters can of course belong to some kinda scene, though.
They should also be aged 15-19, so they should be at least going to high school. Please don’t make them super-intelligent either. Your characters can have one or more talents of course, but don’t overdo it. Concentrate rather on the personality and the characters’ personal story. ~~~ * heart *~~~

Damn annoying thing.
He didn’t want to get up. Not now and not after setting on the alarm for the fifth time. It was Monday and he hated Monday. It always came way too fast just like the end of summer break and getting up at 7 AM was the worst part about it.
Since it was Monday, they’d have pancakes for breakfast and those were always yummy. And having to ride the bus for half an hour was also quite nice for taking another nap before school.
School was of course horror. It scored right after getting up in the morning. And it was so much more time-confusing.
Adrian sat up and rubbed his eyes.Stars were dancing in front of them and he just knew that it’d be a shitty day, one of the worst. He got up and stumbled into the bathroom that Adrian and his sister shared and took a long, hot shower to get ready for this horrible Monday which promised to get really really horrible.

The sound of the rain falling woke Astra up before her
musical alarm clock this morning. Actually, the rain
was the reason she had gone to sleep at a normal
time. She couldn't exactly go to the beach and look
at the moon with the weather like that.
Ahhh~ The weekend was already over! That was fast,
now another week of school. Well, at least next weekend
her dad would be coming home from his business trip, that
was something to look forward to.
Astra took a bath, ate breakfast, got her things together
, the same routine every day. If only she could do
something to spice it up a little.

✿ still a kid inside ❀ ☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮ "Studying? Of course it's important! Just think about your future, you gotta start planning now before it's too late!" Miranda had been awake for quite a while. She usually got up around 6 AM so she had enough time to take a shower, have breakfast and take a walk with her dogs before going to school.
But this morning she had got up even earlier because she couldn’t sleep anymore. The reason hadn’t been the heavy rainfall, she shuddered when she thought of walking her dogs, but the book she was reading at the moment. It was a classic for those who knew science fiction and Phillip K. d**k and Miranda found it quite fascinating.
But now it was time to quit reading and get ready to school.
“Okay”, she murmured and turned on her stereos to listen to 'I've Got', a song that was stuck in her head while getting ready for school.
A little later, Miranda went downstairs into the kitchen of the big house where she and her father lived in. He had already made breakfast and was only waiting for her to arrive.
“Morning, Dad”, Miranda said and smiled at him, then patted her two dogs, Karl and Hugo that were jumping around her.
“Morning, Sweetie”, her dad replied grinningly and added, while Miranda sat down, “I bought some new tea for you, it’s one of those Chai teas you like so much”
Miranda thanked him and both talked about their day before it was time for her dad to leave for work. She always walked part of the way with him and took the dogs along but because of the weather, her dad took the car today and Miranda was alone with Karl and Hugo. She decided to go to the beach. The dogs could run freely there. ☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮ "You're going to Disneyland? Really? Awesome! His mother answered a “Good morning, Adrian” and continued making breakfast for Adrian’s dad who was still at work and his sister who was still sleeping. Adrian himself only ever had coffee for breakfast. Black. He turned to the machine and waited for the black liquid to pour out of it and into his giant cup. He needed a lot coffee to be ready to face the world.
“Do you really don’t want any breakfast?”, his mother asked and Adrian sighed. They must have had that conversation for the hundredth time now, his mom was really stubborn. Or just plain stupid. “How often do you wanna ask me?”, he growled in an annoyed voice. “No, I’m happy with my coffee” Which was finished. Adrian took the cup and went over to the table. He took a glance out of the window and noticed that it was raining. Great, just great.
He and his mother didn’t talk till he had finished the coffee and put it into the dishwasher. He had got used to it, that silence, and he actually was very glad about it. He didn’t like talking that early in the morning anyway.
Grabbing his backpack he mumbled “I’m leaving. Later” and his mom replied her usual “Be careful, have fun, see you later” as Adrian left through the front door to get to his bus stop which was quite far away. ◤...ƒrøm yøυr sαfє đιs†αη¢є ιη †ħιs ¢røωđ

Looking at her watch, it was clear that she had
finished preparing for school quite early today.
Mental preparation was impossible, so she just
threw that thought right out the window. Speaking
of the window, Astra turned her head to see what
was going on. Still raining, darn it. Oh well. There
was nothing else to do, so she picked up her clear
umbrella and decided to head for the beach.
There was no wind, so the rain fell straight down,
cats and dogs, cats and dogs. There were puddles
everywhere and the rain made such a perfect sound,
she thought it was impossible. When Astra arrived
at the beach she was even more astonished. The
sea wasn't angry at all! It was low tide, almost no
waves, the raindrops made millions of visible splashes.
Astra was glad she hadn't missed this.

When Miranda arrived at the beach, she was cold and felt frozen. For a second she thought that maybe the rain would turn into snow but that was ridiculous. It didn’t snow very much in Chesterfield and not very often either. And it was November. There was no snow in November.
Just when she wanted to let her dogs off the leash she saw another person, a girl. She somehow seemed familiar and as Miranda walked up to her, she noticed that she was going to her school.
“Hey”, she shouted at the girl to reach her through the loud rain, “does it bother you if my dogs run around here? I’d like to let them off the leash but if you’re afraid of dogs, I won’t of course” ☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮ "You're going to Disneyland? Really? Awesome! She looked like someone from school, and apparently
she was walking her dogs. Good grief, what a strange
reason to go all the way to the beach on a rainy day.

Miranda returned the smile and answered “Thanks, that’s a relief. Karl and Hugo really love the beach” Then she let both dogs of the leash, patted them and they ran away, barking. Miranda couldn’t help but grin. Later the whole house would smell like wet dog again but it didn’t matter. As long as they had fun.
Miranda averted her eyes from her playing and happily barking dogs and turned to the girl from her school. She wondered why the girl was here at the beach at this time while it was raining like the apocalypse was near. She didn’t even have dogs with her and was apparently only staring at the sea.
Maybe there was something interesting there? A sinking ship or something? She looked at the sea but disappointingly there was nothing, only raindrops and a lot of water. Huh.
