Personally, I liked it until the second book. It went downhill for me. Thats just my opinion.. redface

It's one of my alltime favorites! I read the newest, Ring of Solomon, and loved that too.
I could see maybe the 2nd book got a little slow with all of Kitty's background. Was that it for you?

I liked all of them. I mean, Nat and Kitty are always a downer but Bart is awesome smile and the Ring of Solomon was the bee's knees ^_^

I loved it! Nathaniel is much more interesting an enchanter and main character than Harry Potter - and I'm a HUGE Harry Potter fangirl! xd I just got bored of Harry being always the hero... Nathaniel is selfish and makes lots of mistakes. He is not a Mary Sue of any kind.
I didn't know there was a fourth book! surprised
