What was the last movie you watched? How many stars would you give it out of 5? (5 being best 0 being worst)

For me it was 25th Hour. I would give it 5 stars actually.

The last movie I watched was Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, which I would give 4 out of 5 stars.

I grew up as a huge video game nerd and waisted hundreds of hours from my childhood on random video games from the Atari all the way through to myh current PS3 and PSP. So many of the elements from the film come from a nostalgic resurfacing from my glory days in an arcade, picking up and recognizing every and any reference to video game lore, from the Pac-Man speech to simple sound effects from the Legend of Zelda, which enhanced my experience with the film than an average movie viewer without the video game back ground.

Freedom Writers. I like it, but I only own it because someone gave it to me as a Christmas present last year. 4/5 stars.

@Locks: I LOVE SCOTT PILGRIM. It's tied with Inception for my favorite movie of the year.

House of 1000 Corpses. I'd give it 3.

I loved Scott Pilgrim as well, but I'm not sure if I would go as far as to say it was my favorite movie of the year. I really enjoyed Fantastic Mr. Fox, but I make it no secret that I absolutely love stop motion animation, so that alone gives it an edge in what I consider my favorite film. Crazy Hearts was pretty good as well. I love Jeff Bridges as an actor. And as a Marvel fan I really liked Iron Man 2 But I wouldn't go as far as to call that one the best of the year.

I haven't seen Inception yet. But it is on my list of movies to check out. But next on my list is probably Tron Legacy.

Just came home from the midnight premier of TRON Legacy. Quite amazing, I must say. They did a fantastic job incorporating references to the previous TRON film as well as giving us a new view of the GRID and the world around it. I urge everyone who is a fan of TRON to go and see it.

4 out of 5 stars.

I just recently saw Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

Ehh, I wasn't very impressed. And I think I'm not much of a RDJ fan anymore. Got over him. Sooo, I'd have to give the film a 2/5.

I watched Tron: Legacy the other night, here was my review.

Tron Legacy is an action packed film filled with beautiful visuals, thrilling action sequences, and a solid acting and story to serve as a respectable sequel to the underrated original. And while the good elements outweigh the bad, there were still a few problems with the film which kept this good sequel from being a great one.

The story follows Sam, the son of Flynn from the first movie, who takes over as the leading stock holder of ENCOM after his father disappeared. After receiving a page from Flynn's old office Sam goes in to investigates and gets sucked into a computer system where he finds his father has been trapped for over 20 years.

The first half of the film gives you an overdose of action, leaving little for solid story development as you are thrusted immediately into motorcycle stunts, jumping from high buildings, and after Sam enters into the System is thrusted immediately into playing a pong like disc throwing and light cycle games. The movie eventually slows down and becomes more enjoyable once Sam is reunited with his father. The audience finally gets a breather and a chance to digest what they have witnessed so far and are able to enjoy the second half of the film more than the first, even if it has less fast pace action.

The look and feel of the movie while at times I felt didn't bridge the gap between the two movies, overall still did a great job portraying a world which you can watch and feel is Tron-esque and a good tribute to the original as well.

While the story and acting wasn't anything brag worthy, it was still solid and good enough to be used as a respectable sequel to the original. Jeff Bridges is always a joy to watch. But one thing that did upset me about the story telling was the lack of inclusion of the Tron character. I know that with this film being called Tron: Legacy it will focus mostly on Sam and his father Flynn, but for such an essential character in the first movie, who both films is named after, to be under utilized and appear as nothing more than a bit part was a disappointment.

Tron: Legacy is a sequel 28 years in the making, while the final product wasn't as grand of a long awaited sequel as I would have liked, it was still a worthy one. Great action, beautiful visuals which matches if not exceeds that of Avatar, but a movie which cost nearly $200 million to make I fear will most likely fall short of it's mark.

Final Grade: C+

Just saw Duck Soup from the Marx Brothers. The whole thing's ridiculous and pretty much just a set up for gags, mainly sight gags, but I still ended up really enjoying myself while watching it. rofl

I just watched the movie Uzumaki (which means Spiral). It's a pretty bizarre and creepy film from japan. It was pretty good though.

Last movie I saw was Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole.
You know, for what it was it wasn't that bad. (an epic childrens 'warrior' tale of an unlikely hero).

Aside from how predictable the whole thing was, and the fact that it was bits and peices stolen from many older fantasy warrior movies, I felt it was pretty well done. I wouldn't say its one of the best childrens movies I've seen this year, but i'd probably put in around number ten, so its kind of up there. The main actor kind of pissed me off a bit though, his voice acting bothered me, mostly because with every sentence he had to make it seem like he was exclaiming something rather than just talking. Visual effects were really great though, absolutely fantastic animation.n I'd rate it a 3.5/5.

The last movie I saw was A Clockwork Orange. I would say it gets a 3 out of 5 stars from me. I like odd movies, but this one just didn't really tickle my fancy so to speak.

Last film I saw was Tron: Legacy. The soundtrack was amazing, as were the visuals, but other than that there wasn't much to love. I thought it was a fun ride, but a forgettable one. 3/5 'cause it was fun.

If memory serves me correctly, the last movie I watched was Con Air (1997).

Personally, I loved it (I have a soft spot for cheese), but I don't know how I would rate it. It deserves a 4 for entertainment value, but if you're looking for a movie with a bit of substance I'd recommend something else.

I watched Shadows and Fog last night. It's a Woody Allen film from 1992. I thought it was very well directed and very funny. The dialogue was very good and interesting too.

4.5/5
