I don't think he exists but he is interesting nonetheless. And the fact that there are actual newspaper articles about him makes it more convincing

during the day, when my family is awake, i am surrounded by people and the sun is shining, yes i would like to believe he exists. right now, at night, when my family is asleep, and i am all alone downstairs with little more than a desk lamp to light my room, no. i don't want to believe he exists.

Yes, but people use Photoshop, which all you have to do is get a picture of a man in a Tuxedo, erase some of the face, use the liquify filter to stretch him, and copy and paste into a picture, and you have slenderman. However, there are strange things out there. It's not -impossible- Also, check these out. http://www.youtube.com/user/MarbleHornets

I do beileve that it exists, but I just noticed something... But also, is it helps in comfort wise for when you are alone in your dark basement trying to sleep I noticed that The nightmare before christmas was realesed in 1993 while slenderman was made in 2009, and the fact that the two characters look so much alike has a slim chance of just being coincadince.

I have however heard of stories that are similar to him, that were made long before he was made on SomethingAwful, and I think just about every picture of Slendy is shopped.

Despite the realistic pictures, I don't think Slendy is real. I do enjoy the stories and pictures, though.

Actually, the pictures are photoshopped and the "witness"report is fake as well. However, this was all based off of a real legend about him that, I believe, and correct me if I'm wrong, was started around in Europe. However, that's what it was, a legend. Though,a lot of people have claimed actual sightings of Slenderman. This, in my opinion, can tie in to the Tulpa of Tibetan, meaning that if someone believes in something enough, it can take a form of it's own. Whether this is meaning to be a physical form or a mental form within the subjects mind, I don't know. I haven't exactly read to much on this theory, just that I know it exist. This is a link that I find most helpful on the Slenderman. http://naturalplane.blogspot.com/2010/12/legend-and-legacy-of-slender-man.html

Oh golly, I love Slenderman so much. I've watched all of the Marble Hornets episodes on Youtube, and I myself have been convinced that I had 'Slendy Sickness'. So here goes on my opinions. He could or could not be real, who knows. But I think some of it is all sort of like tricking yourself into it. For example, if someone tells you to look and the ceiling and say mayonnaise and you will sneeze, and you think that it will happen, then it most likely will because you are thinking of it. I probably didn't describe that right. emotion_facepalm But I myself had been convinced that I had Slenderman Sickness, essentially, excessive coughing, nausea, amnesia, computer troubles, electronic troubles, hallucinations, etc. But it was really me just overreacting to a simple cold, and probably making it worse by linking it to Slendy Sickness.
