I tried baking powder + water as a shampoo, rinse it off with lemon + water, then rinse it again with water. Tried it for a week tops. I guess I'm trying it again during my winter break.
Have you guys ever tried this or something similar?

Baking powder? Are you sure you don't mean baking soda?
Anyway, I use baking soda and water when I want to fade out my hair color. =]

The only one I've tried is the ACV rinse.
- Organic apple cider vinegar. - A few drops of lavender essential oil (make sure it's one that safe for skin, etc. AuraCacia is a good brand).
Store the initial mix in a glass bottle. Dillute a small amount in a seperate bottle with water (a hair dye bottle works best), mix, and run it through your hair.
The lavender is mainly just to calm down the overpowering smell of vinegar. Your hair will smell kind of vinegary at first, but when it dries the smell dissapears.

I don't really go no-poo, but I only shampoo my fringe daily, since it hangs in my face all day D= Everything else, for some reason I can go almost 2 weeks without washing it before it gets dirty D= I do rinse it with water and put conditioning cream in it every day.

I tried a no shampooing method for a while last year. My conditioner still had some sufates in it which may have effected my results. My hair was a bit softer and had some more shine but there wasn't really that much of a diffrence. Now I shampoo two or three days a week since it's summer and I'm outside sweating a lot. The rest is just water and conditioner.
I haven't tried it with just the natural ingredients or without the chemicals since my parents buy the shampoo/conditioner for the family....
