The nominees have had enough time to respond and you guys enough time to ask question. Its voting time now so send in votes to me, GCDSG-Kroo, for the two people you'd like to see on crew. You can put both names in the title or both names in the body of the PM.

3. There is suspicion that a GM has rigged a game in favor of their friends or that they have rigged the next GM election. How would you investigate and handle the situation?

Well hello! I guess I'll get this ball rolling, then.
I'm beReaved__staRlight, Gaian for four years and SGer for... four games now? You can call me whatever. I've had a lot of fun playing these past couple months, and I've even managed to GM a game.
I'm glad someone thought I'd make a good Crew (Kroo) member. I'm not sure if I deserve the nomination, but I think I'd make a pretty good Kroo member because I've had experience modding a guild in the past, and I'm fairly invested in this guild (it's one of the few places on Gaia I still check daily.) Even though I'm new here, I hope to be able to continue to participate in these games for a long time to come!
Questions, questions...
1. I'd screen cap the thread/post, delete it and report the user/guild. If they're in the guild I'd ban them too, per the rules. I'd also send them a PM explaining that they've violated ToS.
2. Since they're not normally like this, I'd probably issue a verbal warning and remind them that they shouldn't do this. If the issue continued then I'd probably edit their insults out and issue formal warnings on their record.
3. I'd confront the GM about the suspicions first. If they admit to it then they'll get a warningbe banned from hosting games for the next couple times. If they deny the accusation then I'd investigate further; check to see if I could prove any of the voters are mules, talk to some of the people raising the suspicion and see why they suspect the GM, check the GM's record to see if they have a bad history... if there's enough evidence to convict them, then they'll get the original punishment, and also be banned from hosting games for an extra game than if they'd confessed.

Well hello everyone, I'm KeJoRo, as a lot of you already know, and I have been in the SG since game 35, which, coincidentally, was also my first role.
As for my credentials, I have no Gaian credentials to speak of, however, I have had Forum Moderator experience spanning over the course of three years on Tribal Wars, a browser game, in which I was a meticulous moderator for a few different tribes. I work to the exact guidlines of whatever my agenda is. For example, in one tribe, the leader decided that spelling and grammar must be accurate. In this tribe, I was respected by the leader for editing posts and only correcting mistakes, never diminishing or changing the message in the post, as well as deleting double-posts, etc. In another, I was asked to edit out any swearing, which I also completed to the best of my ability.
Obviously, the role of Kroo has more responsibility than what I have described, but rest assured, I would fill the role as best I can.
Now, onto the questions:
1: Any inappropriate images would be removed the moment I spot them, though I would leave the post/thread if nothing else violated the ToS. I would PM the poster of the images issuing them a warning not to post such content. Spam would cause the thread to be moved to the recycle bin and locked, possibly even being deleted if it also violates the ToS. Again, the poster would be issued a PM. Repeat offenders would be banned from the guild.
2: I would politely step in and offer to act as mediator in this situation. Offensive comments would be deleted or edited out. If no solution can be found, even with me as mediator, I would ask the members to refrain from posting comments like this in the guild, drop the subject and move on. Continuation would land both members an official warning.
3: I would question the accusations and find out more about the suspicions before jumping to any conclusions. If I do not find any evidence to disprove the claims, I would then ask the GM and remind them that the longer it takes to reach a guilty verdict, the more severe the consequences will be. If they own up to it straight away, I will issue an official warning and ban them from GMing for a time relating to the seriousness of the offense (false RNG results, for example, are not as severe as ignoring votes/kills/saves, etc in favour of removing or keeping in certain players, unless said false RNG results have a completely game-changing effect). If they deny the accusations and eventually it is found that they are guilty, the banning will relate directly to the seriousness of the offense and add the time taken onto the ban as well.

Im Thorn Of The Sky (I was SkyWishes2000,but I changed my name because I thought change was good. Well,some change....>.<)
I admit,I was very surprised when I was nominated.... And quite nervous on what to do,but Ill try anyways.
I dont really have any Gaian things to show my credit... But I am an Mod, (Hopefully an Admin soon.) on an RP site that a friend of mine owns. I always try to use the best grammar that can be used,but Im not going to go all Grammar Nazi on you.XD
Being a Kroo member would be amazing to me,but if not,Im still fine with just being a part of this amazing Guild and everyone in it. I heart you all.^^
1. I,of course,would immediately remove the image,but if everything else in the thread was alright,I would leave that be. I would then proceed to contact the poster of the spam or images that have violated the ToS with a warning not to post anything of that nature or there will be consequences. If they post anything of the nature again,they will be banned from the guild.
2. I would step into the conversation/argument,and ask the contenders to please take the argument to a PM,and delete or edit the offensive comments. If they continue to post this in the thread,I will give them both a warning.
3. I would first confront the GM to see if he or she would own up to it and make the punishment easier on themselves. Which would be being banned from GMing an amount of games,depending on the severity of it. But if the GM pleaded not guilty,I would look into it and talk to the people talking about the rumor. I would also check the GM's record to see if perhaps they have a history of being well.....Bad,shall we say. If they did deny the accusitions,and they were found guilty,then they will receive the original punishment plus one extra game if they had originally confessed to rigging a game.

Oh, hello there. Didn't hear you come in. I'm Hatmaster, as many of you will already know, and have been a member of the guild since game 20.
Much like my esteemed colleague KeJoRo, I have no Gaian credentials. However, I once played a part in running a roleplaying forum, in which I was tasked with enforcing the ToS of the site. I was commended by the admin in this regard.
As mentioned by my esteemed colleague, the role of Kroo has more responsibility than my previous position, but I will endeavor to do my best.
No, question time.
1) The offending posts would be removed, and a message sent to the offending poster explaining why I did so and giving them a warning. All spam threads would be moved to the Recycle Bin and locked. Repeat offenders would be banned.
2) I would temporarily lock the thread, in an effort to prevent the argument from going further. I would then PM the two offending posters and request that they refrain from continuing down that particular metaphorical path. If they refused to comply, I would give them a warning.
3) I would first inquire as to the grounds on which the claim was made. If I felt that the argument held water, I would then go about confronting the GM. If they admitted to fixing it, I would err to the side of leniency, and would ban them from GMing for two games and from taking part in the next three GM elections. If they deny any involvement, and then are found guilty, then they would be banned from GMing for at least 5 games, and for at least 6 elections.

Hey everybody, how's life treating you? Not so good with a Sniper and CK running around? Well, at least you have a whole bunch of choices for Kroo!
I'm Ginji, I've been a Gaian for too long and an Sger since somewhere around Game 17. I'm Co-Captain of a pretty active roleplay (well, it use to be pretty active, now it's just randomly active, haha) and am in charge of letting new people in and enforcing the rules and making the roleplay better all around. I've GMd two games (Games 28 and 43) and both have gone splendid, even with the potholes I hit along the way.
Any question? Of course there are questions, this IS the Kroo elections after all!
1. It sounds strict, but if images that violate the ToS were posted, I'd ban the offender without warning , screencap the thread and then delete the thread. This goes along with the Guild Rules under Rule 1 and should be handled as such. I'd then PM the offender explaining what I did and why, depending on the situation I may give them a second chance after talking with other Kroo. Spam Advertising would be handled differently, I'd most likely issue a "temp" ban and PM them explaining that no one likes spam and I'd give them a second chance after I sent the PM. All the spam posts would most likely be deleted and the spam threads deleted (or moved) as well.
B. I'd tell them to take it to PMs and try and get it worked out on their own. If they can not work it out on their own in PMs, I'd offer to help them work it out by acting as Mediator. If they continued to post hurtful things in the Guild, I'd give them a warning and delete/edit offending posts.
3/C. I'd first confront the GM about the accusation and try to see if it has any merit. I'd also get in contact with the accusing party and hear their side of the story. If they're are found guild and the GM lied about their involvement a stricter punishment would be dealt out than if they told the truth about their bias nature. As I side note, I feel we need a rule to the effect of "Do not lie to Kroo if they are asking for information as Kroo" so we can cover this in the Guild Rules in two sections (GM Rule 1 and Guild Rule New) and punishment would be consistent.

So hi, I'm Shadow_articuno. I've been on gaia for a few years now, and I've been playing the sniper game for over a year now. I Get on gaia at least once a day so I'm always active. The only exception was when my computer broke and wouldn't let me get online last year. So I guess I should get to those questions now.

I would move the thread to the recycle bin or delete it if you can actually do that. As for the user, I would ban them from the guild.

I would start by telling them to stop fighting in the thread. If they don't start I may temporary ban the fighters.
3. There is suspicion that a GM has rigged a game in favor of their friends or that they have rigged the next GM election. How would you investigate and handle the situation?
I would confront the GM first. If they deny, I would then ask players who they voted for and who they chose.
You need any more questions answered just ask.
