I don't know if yall follow US news, but a few days ago, the repeal of DADT was passed in the House of Reps. DADT was a rule in the military, that day or lesbian people were not allowed to show their sexuality to 'protect' them, but if someone finds out you are, by looking through your items, or catching you with another person, you would be dishonorably discharged.
Today it passed in Senate, and once President Obama sign it, people will be able to be themselves.
Your thoughts?

I always wondered about that. :/ I never understood how being gay was a reason to be discharged. <.<

Now, I don't agree with the rational, but it was to supposedly 'protect' the person, and protect their divison from becoming torn apart or something like that.
