Zeno had decided to mold a clay bird and let it fly him there. It proved to be slow in comparison to Allister’s running speed, even though he arrived minutes after.

Homaru came on the road and looked around. He saw nothing suspicious and then said to his clone that he had to stay on the outside of the road. He did what Homaru said and jumped next to the road on the branches to cover Homaru. After that Homaru followed the path and schearched for footprints. After a while of chearching he didn't find anything and took his map. "We had everything,... we got to start all over again now." He said, and walked further on the road to the next post where the men could have been.

A grotesque form dashed across the open, country road. It was covered from head to toe in leaves, dirt, tree sap, and appeared to be rotting. The smell of day-old flesh filled the air as the creature stumbled down the dirt road, gurgling as it thrashed about. The travellers who were walking along the road moved aside, watching the creature with wide eyes as it tripped over itself, kicking up dirt and pebbles. After a moment of landing in a heap, the creature stay motionless, then hopped up and took off sprinting, until the ghastly (and quite clumsy) oaf disappeared from sight.

Chuunin  Red XAdam Nagareboshi, The Daredevil of the Rain.
