Introduction
This is a roleplay that Ive tried many times before, but it never caught on. Hopefully that will change.
The basic idea of this roleplay is rather simple, its a never ending fight between good and evil.
First create a hero(s) or Villain(s) to start with. Along with other roleplayers you fight each other to the death. If you win you stay with that character, if you are the unfortunate one who loses then you create another character to fight again. Simple, yes?

Heartwood is a troubled city. Every time the citizens turn around it seems like there is a new villain around the corner waiting to pounce, but i suppose this is the reason they live here. It is the only city around that doesn't kill those with powers when they are born. Tourists come every year to see the epic battles despite the chance of getting killed every few seconds.
Those that have powers chose a life of good or evil. They don't live very long however. Some die as children from hurting themselves with their powers or their parents give them up to fend for themselves. Some die in their teen years from trying to become hero's or villains before their powers fully develop. Then their are those who die fighting for what they believe in. Either way, its a short life span.

☠Eric was born outside of Heartwood to a single mother, she had no idea that Eric had any powers until he was old enough to walk around. She couldnt belive her eyes when she saw him fly for the first time. She was scared for his safety for she knew that where she lived, they would kill her son the moment they found out that he had powers. So she traveled half way across the continent to bring him to Heartwood. Where she raised him until he was 15 years old. She died from a hero trying to protect Eric, he had begged the hero to save her instead of him. But the hero valued Eric's life over his mothers.
Eric killed the hero soon after to avenge his mothers death. He lived on his own from then on, keeping his feelings bottled up inside as he mastered his powers and decided that if he could not be happy, then no one else could either.WORDWORD
