I love short hair on women. I've wanted a pixie cut for a while not, but my boyfriend thinks it'll make me look too masculine. Does anyone here have a pixie cut (with pics!)? Is there some sort of compromise haircut I can settle with, or should I just go for it?

The way I see pixie cuts are as being very femmy to have short hair, and can be very cute. But you do need to have the right face shape ect to pull them off...

Yeah... the face shape is what it's about. I have my hair short, but it's longer at the front... so it looks like a bob almost. I like it. (think Rihanna's short hairdo)

I had a pixie cut, I thought I'd like it but I missed my long hair.... It's grown back since then but I won't go back to that style, it's just not really me...

I currently have a pixie cut and it is much cuter than long hair on me. I'd say go for it whee it is your body and your hair. Don't let your boyfriend control you.

I had a boyfriend for a time that was like that (not completely accepting of everything I was and did) Then one day I wised up, dumped his insecure a** and shave my head! Thats when I found my love who adores everything I do and thinks Im always beautful! heart

As a guy, I can say that sometimes its a hit or miss with pixie cuts... Sometimes girls look really cute, sometimes they look tough, which I think is sexy, other times they look like dudes... But I think whats really important is if YOU like it. No matter what haircut you have, if you enjoy it and wear it confidently, it will look good on you.
