this is always fun! one person starts a story and then another picks it up and adds as much as they want and each person keeps it going!!
Sitting around a campfire late one night a group of five friends told each other silly ghost stories. Will sat on one side of the fire with his guitar in his lap and Jessica and Sarah on each side of him. Claressa and Jacob sat on the othe side of the campfire cuddling and occasionally kissing. Will played another song on his guitar. Sarah watched Will batting her eyelashes softly as Jessica glared at Sarah.

Sarah hated it when Jessica flirted with Will. Sarah had a major crush on him, but Will kind of liked Sarah. Jessica crossed her arms and sulked.
Jessica got a bit closer to Will and began to sing along to the song he was singing, "Clementine."
When Will finished, he turned to Sarah. "You have a beautiful voice."

Sarah blushed softly at Will. "Thank you," she said with a soft giggle. Claressa and Jacob decided it would be fun for the whole bunch of them to go down to the lake for a late night swim. Jessica was happy for the reprive from seeing Sarah hit on Will. They all walked down to the lake. Jessica slowly removed her clothes to reveal a pink and small bikini. Sarah pulled off her t-shirt and cutoff shorts and was wearing a black bikini. It showed off her swimmer's body.

Jessica was pleased to see several small warts on the inside curve of Sarah's left thigh as it showed Sarah wasn't all that perfect after all.
"Come on Will, let's go swimming!" she said to Will, laughing and grabbing his arm, she playfully tugged him towards the water.
Clarissa and Jacob were already in the water, splashing and playing around.

Jessica couldn't understand how she ended up liking the same guy as Sarah. Sarah had all the luck with guys- just like she was having all the luck right now with Will. Too bad it was too late for the one imperfection that Sarah had to be seen by everyone.
Jessica stuck her foot in the water and shivered. She didn't swim much, and to top it all off, she didn't like the cold at all. She looked up and noticed Sarah jumping on Will and dunking him under. Jessica knew she would have to make sacrifices if she wanted to win over Sarah, and she took a deep breath as she jumped in.

Once Jessica jumped in she shreiked. The water was freezing. She hadn't even been in the water for one minute and already her toes were frozen.
Everyone ignored her loud entrance. They were having too much fun.
"Will!" she called out to him. Finally reaching him she took his arm and squeezed it as if she would never let go. His arm was positioned inbetween her breasts. Will looked at her, blushing a bit, and then said, "Sorry to leave you out Jessica. Let's all do something together. Like a game of 'Marco Polo'."
He turned toward Claressa and Jacob hose lips were already locked. Will watched them for a bit and sighed. "I wish I had a girlfriend," he said with a depressed tone.
"You have me," Sarah said quickly. "I could be your girlfriend."
Will looked at Sarah and smiled.
"Sarah, you know I love you," he began. "But it's just as a friend. I want someone like...like-- I don't know."
"Well, there is me," Jessica added in, still squeezing Will's arm as hard as she could.
There's no way he's getting away from me, she thought.
"Why would I go out with you?" Will asked. His tone this time was a little rude. Jessica was shocked and Sarah snickered at her rival.

"Wh-what?" Jessica could feel her eyes filling up with tears and she whipped around so Will couldn't see them.
"I wasn't aware I was so revolting to you!" Now Jessica was getting kind of angry, she whipped around and slapped Will with a resounding SMACK! She stalked out of the lake and into the woods as Will gingerly held his sore cheek and Sarah coddled him.

What the hell? Jessica thought. She got out the water, and although the wind blew hard against her numbing body, she hardly noticed. She went back to the campfire and sat with her face in her hands, crying softly. What had she done that Will hated her so much for? She thought back to all the times they had hung out. They had known each other since sixth grade, and now they were juniors in high school. They had shared most of the same classes, and not once had Will ever seemed the slightest disgruntled or disgusted with her. In fact, sometimes he almost seemed to like her. Not just like her, but like her like her.
After a few minutes she pulled her face out of her hands. She stared into the fire. No more than fifteen minutes ago, they had been having fun. They had been enjoying themselves. But now, Jessica wished she had never come out there. She ground her teeth, grief and embarassment quickly being replaced by anger. Will had invited her out there, after all. Why would he do that, then be so rude to her.
Two can play at this game, Jessica thought, glancing at Will's guitar. Without a second thought, she grabbed it and smashed it into the fire.
