You make the most beautiful icons. I particularly adore the 'million galleon smile' one. Very pretty. And the 'break away' one... Yay.
As far as getting people to post, well, I've just accepted three more people, so perhaps we shall become a bit more active? We'd better.
(It's an excellent idea. Feel free to start as many threads as you'd like)

If you don't mind me asking, which progam you use to make them? Photoshop? Illustrator? Other?
As for which was my favorite Hogwarts class, I say Potions. The percise measurements and careful working on a potion doesn't leave room for one's mind to wander on unwanted thoughts (whether present or past events). sweatdrop

Thanks!!! My livejournal theme is snape, and I got bored, so I made some new ones.
I use Photoshop CS *coughstolencough*, and just snag the screencaps offline. Yay, imagesearches.
I think my favourite class would probably be Defense and Care of Magical Creatures, despite wanting to say "omgpotions!". I just like the mutability of Defense, and well, I love animals. Even the... "interestin' creatures" that Hagrid has.
On a side note, it'll be nice to see some activity around here.

I use Photoshop CS *coughstolencough*, and just snag the screencaps offline. Yay, imagesearches.
I think my favourite class would probably be Defense and Care of Magical Creatures, despite wanting to say "omgpotions!". I just like the mutability of Defense, and well, I love animals. Even the... "interestin' creatures" that Hagrid has.
On a side note, it'll be nice to see some activity around here.

Yet ain't very good at making icons or sigs, only image working in class. blaugh

There's an Icon Brush community on LJ- 100x100_brushes, that I got most of mine from. There's also some on DevArt. I mainly use deconstructed borders and a florals set by niqii for Snape icons.
*pokes around thread* Anybody here read "Stealing Harry" by SamVimes? It's a really great AU, and there are two versions, one PG for all of the underaged folk. I would link you, but... Google it.

You're a Stealing Harry fan as well? I've been recced the fic, but haven't read it yet.
...[Shadow was here]... I LOVE anything written by SamVimes, but especially anything written in the SH-verse. They're incredibly interesting, and parts are sooo cute.

My favourite class would have to be Care of Magical Creatures, followed very closely by Defence Against the Dark Arts. I would love to learn about the magical creatures that lived in the world. XD I think the thestrals lesson would be cool. *nods* I love animals. And, I honestly think I could cope the crazing beings Hagrid would throw at us. razz

Oh gods... Care of Magical Creatures... If I had magical access to creatures of any sort, it would be quite a dangerous thing. I'm quite fond of Chimera, not THE Chimea in particular, but the concept of crossbreeding animals that shouldn't be cross bred. Not talking just a mule, but like a bull~horned bear and the like. Tasty.
As for me, my favorite class would be Arithmancy. The whole concept of knowing... well. Knowing. Simply by the addition of a particular set of letters or numbers... I'm an etymologist by nature, and arithmancy is simply power. Really adds to manipulating people and events, if you know their... 'root'. Arithmancy is why I've thrown away a decade~long tradition of being simply "J" to reclaiming the name of Jason. heart

there very well done i esp like the borken and haunted icons. there is many realy rubbish crap icons out there but yours are pretty good. except i had to go close up to srceen to see the "you've got a millon galizon smile" one but never mind
