New thread, new OOC. The old one is disgustingly hard to keep track of. You guys know the drill.
As for something I actually wanted to discuss OOC, I tried to leave what happened to Derek and Joe open-ended, and who was in the lab when it got raided a mystery. I sort of put Hakobe there, I know, but I figured she's stubborn enough that she wouldn't let 367 get gutted without being there to help. If you want to include the lab raid in more detail in your stories, go for it, but at the end of the day, I don't want to play Derek and Joe for now. Anyone else is free to take them over if they want to, though.
Also sorry for the depressing first posts. I felt like it was appropriate. xd

Can anybody take up the role of Derek and/or Joe? I could give Joe a try, but I feel that there are others who could do him more justice.... sweatdrop
However, if he has no takers and if all else fails, I'll do my best to play a good Joe. 3nodding

I would play either one but I think they would be very out of character. This is considering how much "screen time" I've seen of them.
If I have to play one of them as NPCs. I would pick Derek but only an as occasional play.
Just a question, is his personality like a good neighborly lives-next-door sort of guy?

My boyfriend got a cell phone so we were talking last night. He made my stomach feel better. <3
I will post as soon as I can! Babysitting my niece right now. Her daycare is cancelled cause the snow, but her mom had to go to work.

Seems that even that just about all of Aekea's strongest have been undertaken by the wave of "******** you I'm a corporation lol," Ash is in a test tube in Aekea Asylum, Hayley is slowly losing her former identity the more she tries to blend in, and Ra's become a shiny new dog of war. Not to mention King is a double agent for Omnidrink inside the MAGIC ranks. Wow we are starting this below ground level aren't we?

Well i just got the personal achievement of longest-post-ever.
Deceptus isn't captured, but he is in hiding in the Orc caves and trying to repeat what he did in the encounter with the Regs on the night that he gained his new ability.

Derek is kind of like the neighborly guy in that he's always willing to help, always willing to try, even if he doesn't entirely know how. He was an EMT before OMNI hit, but the city didn't need an EMT. They needed a full-blown doctor. So he figured it the hell out. He's actually incredibly smart... he just never gives you reason to think as much. xd
The biggest thing when playing Derek is that charming as all hell, a little goofy, and has no concern for making a fool of himself (especially if it will get a pretty girl to smile). Despite the demands of his job, he's a flirt through and through, and will act as much to any lady, much to the old Hayley's disdain.
If you're familiar at all with the Resident Evil series, think Leon S. Kennedy with a penchant for fixing things. And robotic hands. xd
Don't feel the need to play him, though. Honestly, if he's left alone and the group has no idea if he's even alive, I'll probably bring him back for a cameo or two later on. I just don't want to be regularly playing him. Joe can be separate from him, of course, especially since the raid hit so hard. I wouldn't be surprised if Joe prioritized getting the group to safety while Derek instead tried to desperately do something to buy them time.

Well, knowing Hakobe, she wouldn't leave any of her robot friends behind....and she certainly wouldn't leave a friend whom she thought was dead all this time. 3nodding
I'm working on my opening reply, even as we speak. It might take me a good while to gather my thoughts together and organize them, but I'll do what I can to get it all up soon. 3nodding
