So close man, so close.
If Kirby's thunder hadn't missed, this thread wouldn't exist.

I need a good place to grind to make the playing field a little more even.
I'm going to be stubborn here, and not switch out any pokemon.
I'd change moves about, but I don't have room for an HM slave.
Everyone in my party gets used for something and all moves get used.
/stubborn trainer moment.

Here's my Team:

Triwizard - NidoQueen
Relaxed at lvl 33.
Holding Quick Claw
Atk - 71
Def - 72
Sp.Atk - 60
Sp.Def - 62
Spd - 59
Cut, Bite, Rock Smash, Double Kick.
Role in party: Basicly HM slave/Meat shield.

Mizu - Murkrow
Rash at lvl 33.
Holding Sharp Beak.
Atk - 68
Def- 41
Sp.Atk - 79
Sp.Def - 34
Spd - 72
Peck, Wing Attack, Fly, Night Shade.
Role in party: Transportation, Wing man.

Tony - Quilava
Sassy at lvl 33.
Holding Shell Bell.
Atk - 53
Def - 53
Sp.Atk - 62
Sp.Def - 58
Spd - 61
Swift, Quick Attack, Flame Wheel, Ember.
Role in party: Secondary Attacker.

Momma Khan - Kangaskhan
Lonely at lvl 34.
Holding Silk Scarf.
Atk - 80
Def - 54
Sp.Atk - 41
Sp.Def - 70
Spd - 79
Comet Punch, Mega Punch, Fake Out, Bite.
Role in Party: Tank

Scream - Shiny Gyarados
Hardy at lvl 35.
Holding Never Melt Ice.
Atk - 98
Def - 70
Sp.Atk - 57
Sp.Def - 76
Spd - 72
Bite, Dragon Rage, Ice Fang, Strength.
Role in Party: Tank/Dragon Slayer.

Kirby - Staryu
Calm at lvl 35.
Holding Amulet Coin.
Atk - 35
Def - 51
Sp.Atk - 61
Sp.Def - 50
Spd - 73
Thunder, Recover, Swift, Surf.
Role in Party: First Attacker.

For the most part, the battle on Clare has been fruitful with Momma Khan, Kirby, and Scream.
Triwizard, Mizu, and Tony have been used as meat shields.
But overall, I'd like an area I can level them all up.
The Areas around Blackthorn are okay, but I'm curious if there's a better place.

Clair was the hardest for me to beat because when I first did a run through of SoulSilver I used Typhlosion and I didn't realize at first Dragon Types are resistance to Fire types and lost about 20 times. Then I restarted the game with Feraligatr and Ice moves worked the best on it. I suggest really levelling up near the Safari Zone using your Gyarados since it knows Ice Fang. It can be a hard hitter against those Dragons. I also suggest you look around for trainers you haven't fought yet in case they have high-levelled Pokemon C:

I'm hunting down trainers like a mad woman.
And the Safari Zone, eh?
I wouldn't have thought of that.

It's funny, I chose grass on my Crystal and blew though her.
Her trainers weren't a match for me, but goddamn- her Kingdra's a b***h.
It took out Scream the first time I fought her, and if Kirby hadn't missed...
Why does Thunder's aim suck so bad? Why? ; w ;

Damn you Gym Leaders for having healing items!
Daaaaaaamn yoooooooou! ; w ;

♥ | O_o... Why does everyone have such low level pokémon? It seems like whenever I go to fight a gym leader or something my pokémon are always 10 levels higher than my opponent's.......

Though today I was fighting BF-KUN (my rival) at Mt. Moon with just my L80 Noctowl, and I only struggled because Air Slash kept missing (three times it missed!). I had to say, "This is hax! Ninety-five percent accuracy has never been so bad!" gonk | ♥

Thunder isn't a reliable move because of its 70% Accuracy. Unless you can suddenly get it start raining, it won't be of much help to you.

Just for tops as well, you might want to try and find an Ice Beam for your Kirby. It'll help out A LOT with Clair's Dragon types.

I hate Clair too, from the original GSC to HGSS. I suggest training your Scream till around level 40+ around Safari Zone. Then when it comes to battle, KO all her dragons (except the ******** Kingdra) with Ice Fang. Remember, use only one turn to KO them. If she throws out Kingdra, inflict some negative status like burn (with Flame Wheel), frozen (Ice Fang) and paralyze (Thunder) to stop/slow down Kingdra's bloody Dragon Pulse move. It requires some luck, though. I remember that my Ampharos worked a lot for its Discharge to paralyze Kingdra. The last time I battle her I grabbed a Gloom and poisoned Kingdra

Believe me, I'm in your same boat; Clair was a b***h, yes. If I may state my opinion, most of your Pokemon have too many same type attack moves.

Mizu, for one, I'd suggest to take off Peck, and replace with Faint Attack, to guarantee a hit. If Mizu has teh "Super Luck" ability, it'll help out in the Strong End.Safari Zone allows you to Level Up.

Triwizard, take off Double Kick, and replace with either Drain Punch (if it learns it), or Poison Jab for STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus).

The others, I'm pretty sure are okay as it is.

If you can, I'd suggest getting Thunderbolt instead of Thunder. Though if you use a Rain-dealing move it'll boost the accuracy rate of it

While I was able to beat Claire in one go, I used so many potions it stopped being funny. I did try things like sleeping, poisoning them, burning them etc etc but it's still hard. xP Good luck!

I like Claire, the only thing I hate about her is that she is a whining b***h in the games and in the anime she is so sweet. But I love that she is tough, all the other gym leaders were easy to beat. But I have a plan to destroy her easy this time. I traded pokemon from my SS to my D, and one of them was a low leveled dratini that we can obtain after beating Claire. Well, now I am training it in my new game SS and will beat her to a pulp. Buahahahaha. Or it can fail on me. xD

♥ | Dude, you freaked me out for a second there. I didn't know you could get that Dratini in HG/SS. I thought I must have answered that guy's questions wrong. Then I realized I just needed to go pick up the Dratini. gonk Whew.

Everyone hates Clair so much that we don't even know how to spell her name. xD (There are too many ways to spell that name anyway.) -_- | ♥

Lol. xD

And nah, I know how to spell her name, I just love to put an "e" in it. I love her, but in the games is a hate/love situation. xD
