This room is for those of you who wish to practice your talents, listen to those of others, or just relax to the melodies. For those who play instruments, it is a good place to practice with enough space while not disturbing your dorm-mate.

Joshua let his bag drop to the floor, his hands shaking as he slowly opened the bags and cases, carefully setting his kit up one piece at a time. His mind went blank, and his hands quickly took over, resuming the practiced movements. The kit was larger than he remembered; double bass, eight toms and almost as many cymbals. It only took him a few minutes and then he sat down, staring solemnly at the kit, his mind still locked on Kade. Every ounce of him screamed to rush out and find her, but he knew he could not. "Just...start..." he mumbled, picking up a mismatched pair of sticks randomly for the bag hanging over the largest floor tom. His playing start painfully slow, his body slowly awakening to old habits, old movements and little quirks. His mind once again went blank, and his playing quickly gained momentum, moving easily through any number of songs that he had learned over the years, his hands and feet speeding through Slipknot melodies and patterns before switching mid-pattern into A7X styled beats. Slowly a smile began to work its way onto his lips, his fear, for the moment, forgotten.

As the sound spilled from the music room, the door silently opened. A robed figured strolled in and seated themselves close to Joshua's drums, fluffy ears twitching underneath a hood. It was Kade, hidden in grief as a sad smile danced at the corners of her lips. She sat quietly as so not to disturb him while she listened to him play. She was still wearing the dress from earlier, though there was something disturbing about it this time around.

It took a moment for Joshua to realize someone had entered the room, only actually seeing them when he moved his eyes to a cymbal he was reaching for. He gasped softly, flinging the sticks aside as he rushed to her, knocking over a few pieces of his kit in his rush. He knelt in front of her, gently placing his hands on her cheeks. "Kade! My love, a-are you alright?" he asked breathlessly, his heart seeming to beat just as fast as his drumming had been.

Kade removed the hood from her head, revealing tear-stained cheeks and fresh bruises. Her beautiful eyes shimmered with fresh tears as she watched him, her warm hands resting on his shoulders. Ears flicking backwards, her tail rested against the floor as she wrapped her arms around him, lightly falling into his embrace and sobbing against his chest.

Joshua held her close, wrapping his arms protectively around her. "Oh my god...Kade..." he gently kissed the top of her head, and just sat there holding her. He slowly began to rock her back and forth, trying to bring her some ounce of comfort. Let her talk to you...just help her, do whatever she needs, just help her...

Kade's sides heaved as she sobbed, her tears soaking the front of his shirt. "I-I never v-vant to go vack!" she cried, the robe gently falling from around her shoulders. As it did so, it revealed the disturbing thing about the dress: the back of it was torn and bloody from lashes of a whip. Not only had she seen her family, but she'd gotten more pain than just the grief of her mother dying.

You never have to go back there again, I promise you...you never have to go back...you can stay here with me Kade, I'll protect you...I swear I'll protect you..." he whispered. Joshua's breath caught in his throat, tears spilling from his eyes when he saw what had happened to Kade's back. "Oh my god...love, w-w'e need to get you out of this dress, a-and get your back patched up..." his voice sounded forced; he was choking upon the rage he was trying so hard to suppress.

Kade buried her face against him, her sobbing quieting slightly. Knowing full well about the possibility of infection, she offered a small nod and stood, trembling. She began wiping away her tears with the sleeves of her dress, sniffling as she offered her shaking hand to help him up.

[[Something tells me these two are going to be in the infirmary quite a bit ^^;]]
Joshua took her hand and quickly stood up, closing his hand around her's. He kissed her softly, the worry clear in his eyes. "Come, I'll get you f-fixed up hunny...you an tell me what happened while I work, if you want..." he murmured softly, pushing open the door.

Kade walked beside him as they headed for the infirmary once more, a pained look on her face as she stared at the floor.

Joshua pushed the door to the Music Room open, giving a little bow. "After you, my love." he said with a smile, eager to get to work. "So what kinds of things do you like to sing anyways hunny?"

"Vank you." Kade let go of his hand as she entered the Music Room, her eyes skipping around to the variety of things: instruments, microphones, and the like. Wandering over to the piano in the corner of the room, she opened the cover and lightly struck a key, a high sound emitting from the instrument. "I von't know, I vust sing I guess," she replied, smiling as she struck the key again, her ears twitching to the sound.

Joshua sat down at his drum kit, giving a little grunt. He looked up when Kade touched the note, the sound resonating through his body. "Perhaps you'd like to give me a little demo? Gotta know what my lead singer is capable of." he said with a little smile, his fingers already unconsciously tapping out patterns on his knees.

Kade's smile formed into a serious grin, her fingers lightly sliding down the piano to strike the highest key. Then with the next, she started at a low hum. As she quit the hum and parted her lips, the lyrics of Bring Me To Life by Evanescence spilled angelically. She closed her eyes, losing herself as she sung those melodic words. Suddenly, at the third verse, she stopped, her eyes opening as she stared at the piano keys, a smile pulling at the corners of her mouth.
